Myrah and Nandini were now alone at Malhotra Mansion as Manik had to go urgently to the office and unfortunately their family dinner was cancelled. Myrah was looking at the stars standing by the window. While Nandini was reading the script of her next movie which she was doing in the afternoon as well as keeping a track on her baby. As she was very angry as she wanted to have dinner outside with both her parents.

"Myrah" I said as sweetly as I could because I did not want to upset her more. Instead of turning immediately towards me which she usually did she took more than a minute. I could easily make out that she was hidding her sadness and trying to plaster a smile as Manik does the same thing. Her anger was just like Manik but never expressed it like the way Manik does she has different ways to show her anger. Whenever Manik is angry he plays his guitar and whenever my daughter is angry she sits near the window and looks upon the stars. Pretty different but alike. I just smiled at my thought.

"Yes mumma " Myrah said. I closed my laptop and kept it aside as I wanted to spend some alone time with my daughter.

"Come here" I said. She walked as slow as she could if it would have been other days she would have ran at full speed and jumped on my lap I could make out she was extremely sad as it would have been the first time I this year that we three were going to have dinner or any other meal together. To our misfortune this even did not come true. Finally Myrah reached and settle down beside me.

"Myrah lets play something what say or lets have a race?" I wanted to distract her mind in which I eventually wasn't successful. By this I could tell u she was deeply hurt. Her childhood was not like any other child, her childhood was different. She hardly used to spend time with her mom. I could only blame myself for doing this. Manik gave her everything that he could do instead more but I wasn't. Nevertheless it was not the time to think about all these it was the time to lift my daughter's mood up and for doing that I would have to lift my mood up. If Manik was their he would have done that very easily.

"Lets go out for a long drive?" I said with a little hope as I had given her so many options but her answer was no.

"But on one condition that we both will have an icecream also" I couldsee that Myrah was smiling but was having a though time to control it. My eyes gleaned with happiness and I as fast as I could got of the bed and wore my slippers. Myrah also followed me. I took my car keys form the side table, Myrah in my arms and went near the car. I did not have any idea where would I take Myrah but who cared and I was not bad at roads after all I was born and bought up in Mumbai only.
"Mumma you did not agree or deny anything about my condition." I knew that that condition was just for sake of saying because throwing tantrums to me was in their blood.

"Wheather I deny or not will it even matter to you?" I said jokingly.

"No" Myrah said normally as she did not say anything wrong. My face became a perfect 'o' . Her anger was just gone and now she became normal. It was a good experience as I got to know that my dear daughter loves long drives thanks to Manik indirectly.
