Hate - Not such a strong word when you do something like that.

It's now Friday and I have no plans because I'm still yet to find any friends in this goddamn town. I've kept myself quite distant from everyone, only because that's what I'm used to doing. Why break the habbit now eh?

I woke up to the smell of bacon, and sighed. I quickly jumped in the shower, done my hair, and put on some eyeliner. Today I felt like putting on some black eyeshadow too. Putting on some black shiny leggings, and a tight BVB shirt, I grabbed my phone and shoved some money in my pockets. I'm gonna go into town today and explore the shops.

As I ran down the stairs, my mum grabbed me by the arm and pulled me to a stop.

"I think we need to have a chat" she said. I grumbled as I sighed.

"Can we do this later? I have plans today" I said quickly, pulling on my boots.

"No. It can't wait Blaze" she took a seat on the couch, and patted the space next to her.

"What is it?" I huffed. She just continued to stare at me and shake her head. I hated when she did this.

"I opened this earlier" she produced a small white envelope and popped it on the coffee table. I raised an eyebrow whilst my face creased into a frown. Taking the envelope from the table, I opened the already broken seal to find two Black Veil Brides tickets for 18th September, 7pm @ Old Amp Theatre. I couldn't help but curl my lips into a small smile as I admired the shiny silver lettering on the pure white ticket cards.

"Why do you constantly have to go against everything I say? I set rules for a reason. They are there to protect you and make sure you're safe Blaze. I don't want you galavanting around a new town in the dark with somebody you barely know clearly, as there are two tickets.." she said sternly.

"I'm not, you just don't understand. The theatre is 20 minutes away, I'm not galavanting" I said shaking my head in disaproval of what she was saying.

"You're not going to this" she took the tickets out of my hands, and for one heartbreaking minute I thought she was going to rip them up. She simply slid them into her pocket.

"Yes, I am. I paid for them with MY money. Just because you don't like me or the way I am, doesn't mean you get any say in what I do with my own money" I quickly became irrate and stood up, walking towards the door. Then, just as I hoped definitely wouldn't happen, I heard a blood curdling ripping sound, and spun around to see tiny little ticket pieces flying through the air. A thick lump threatened to engluf my whole throat but I managed to push it away with a little cry. My eyes were watering, and my skin felt prickly. I just about managed to let out some words I never thought anyone should say to their own family.

"I hate you.." I cried as I looked into her eyes. I meant it too. Her face fell a deep shade of red, as guilt clearly washed over her. Good. I wouldn't be talking to her for a very long time after this.

I made for town at a slow pace, mulling over what just happened. What am I going to do now? Every single hope I ever had of meeting my heros, vanished. There was nothing I could do. If I ordered more tickets now, they wouldn't get here in time.

I grabbed a coffee and sat by the fountain. Tears had now stained my cheeks, and turned the rims of my eyes a purple-red shade.

"Are you okay?" A male voice said from behind me. Without turning around, I quickly replied with a small nod.

"I don't believe you" he said softly and proceeded to take a seat next to me. I pulled my legs up to my chest. We sat silently for a good 5-10 minutes before I wiped my eyes, and put my feet back to the ground.

"You're in my music class, right?" he spoke quietly. Soothing almost. I quickly turned around to check, to be met with the face of the black haired, pierced, brown eyed beauty that sat next to me in music that time.

"Uh, yeah" I smiled.

"Where did you learn to play music like that?" he said, looking straight ahead of him.

"Where did you learn to sneak up on people like that? You werent meant to hear any of it" I said quickly. I didn't mean to sound so rude.

"Sorry. I just..I dunno.." shrugging his shoulders, he got up on his feet readying himself to leave.

"I'm sorry" I looked up to him and smiled.

"Coffee?"

I nodded as I took his outstretched hand. He seemed friendly enough.

We headed over to a different coffee place to where I'd previously visited, and sat down at a table. A lady with long blonde hair brought us over some coffee and grinned a toothy smile towards us before walking away.

"I'm Jayden btw"

"Blaze" I nodded.

"You're new, aren't you? I've never seen you before. You look like the sort of person I would get along with" Jayden laughed.

"2 weeks old" I laughed when I realised I sounded stupid.

"You gotta have a good music taste, or we can't be friends. Sorry" he joked.

"What makes you think you're music taste is so awesome?"

"Well, you like BVB, so that's okay with me I guess" he sipped his coffee.

"You guess? You can't be my friend if you just guess.. They're my favourite band" I said as I took real offence.

"Well you've come to the right town then.. Are you seeing them next week?" he questioned.

"I was.." I said looking down.

"Ah, I get the tears now. If I had a spare ticket, I would give it to you" he pursed his lips, and fell silent.

"It's fine. I'm used to everything in my life going wrong" I mumbled.

I stayed with Jayden in the coffee shop for a few more hours before heading back home. I started working on lyrics for my song, but didn't get very far before falling asleep. I had a really shitty day, all I wanted was comfort. I'm glad I made a new friend though, that's something I could really do with right now.
