Chapter 2

(Ryan's pov)

I was just heading to the store to get some groceries. i noticed a young girl, 10 or 11 maybe,

sobbing in a shaded corner of the market. I went to see what was wrong.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

'No." she replied.

"What happened? Where are your parents?"

"I was just robbed of my only money, which i worked so hard for. And..."

She seemed to be debating what to tell me.

"I don't have parents."

She said.

"Do you live in an orphanage?"
"I did...But they hated me and made me do everything. So i ran away."

"Which orphanage? Would you like me to adopt you?"
"Oh... i would.... yes i would."
"Country side orphanage."

"Okay, lets head there now."

"What's your name?"

"Mine's Ryan. What's yours?"

"Mine's Kaylee."

Alright kaylee. i thought. lets get you outta there.

(kaylee's pov)

i was so scared to face her. She would hit me. i was sure of it.

(Ryan's pov)

I pulled up into the driveway, and we got out.

we went up to the door and rang it.

A woman answered.  She was wearing a tee-shirt that was cut around her neck, and Genes.

"Ah. i see you've caught my runaway.  thank you so much."

"Yes. i'll get her stuff."

when we were down the drive, i whispered in  her ear, i'm coming back. But i need to see if she hurts you. if she does, i can have her arrested.

I handed her her bags, and sent her back up.

I started the car and drove around the house, got out, and snuck around.

i went to the window and started filming. I saw the lady slap kaylee!

Then she pulled out a belt. I blinked as i heard  a Whap! and a cry of terror. 

i called 911. "911 what is your emergency?"

A cool voice asked.

"I am at country side orphanage. the orphanage owner hurts the kids. I have proof

pls come immediately."

I ran back inside and said, i want to adopt kaylee.

"You do? Well, with such a handsome man like yourself, you could use someone to help out a little. Especially someone with such good records with kids. I'll get your paperwork."

She said flirtatiously.

when she turned around, I made a gagging sound with my finger.

kaylee smuggled a laugh.

She came back, and had me sign with paper. come on in to my office. Kaylee, stay HERE."
She grabbed my hand and led me into her office.

"So, sign here."

I did. 

"So, how old are you?

'22."

"I'm 23"

She said.

When she was done signing it, she gave it to me, saying, "Are you sure you don't need some help? i am" 

She  pursed her lips "VERY good with children."

She purred. 

"No"

I started to head out, my hand on the doorknob, when she tackled me.

She began to kiss me on the cheek, then she kissed me once on the lips.

I pulled away VERY quickly. 

"I have a girlfriend! Leave me alone!"
