-----Mack lays on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She had just finished getting dressed, as she was hanging out with the boys-and Jake- today.
She sighs deeply, before smiling, reminiscing on the events that happened yesterday.
After Paul had confessed to her, they continued walking on the beach, and, although the wanted something magical to happen, the date finished off normally, with a kiss to the cheek as goodnight.
Blake knocks on the door quietly, having not seen his sister at all the day before.
"How did your date go?" he asks when he enters.
Mack sighs and rolls onto her side, facing her brother.
"I mean...it went good, but I don't know why I'm disappointed."
Blake huffs, and sits down next to his younger sibling.
"What happened?" he breaths out.
Mack sits up, and crosses her legs.
"You remember when we were at the bonfire? And Billy told us about imprinting?"
Blake nods slowly, not understanding where this is going.
"Well, Paul imprinted on me.." she finishes, looking down to her lap.
Blakes face turns unreadable, so many thoughts running through his mind, that not even Mack could keep up.
"Well that's a good thing right?" he questions, deciding to save a overprotective brother thing for later.
"Yeah, but I expected something magical to happen right? Like in the movies." she responds, and Blake rolls his eyes.
"Well this is reality sister, its nothing like the movies." he says, causing Mack to laugh.
"Yeah, I guess your right." she says.
"Plus, give the poor boy time, you are an extremely beautiful girl, he's probably just nervous." he replies.
Mack rolls her eyes, "Yeah, but have you seen him? He literally looks like he was made by Greek Gods." she says chuckling.
"That is true, but I'm gay so my opinion doesn't count." he jokes, the words leaving his mouth before he can control it.
Macks smile drops.
"Your what?"
Blakes eyes stare at her wide, before he closes his eyes and runs his fingers through his hair.
