Easter Miracle

On a nice, sunny day in April, Alaysia, her mother, and her friends were getting ready to celebrate Easter! For Alaysia, every Easter seems boring, but she'll soon find out that this year will turn out surprising.

"All right kids, are you ready?" Ms. Watanabe-Velasquez said.

"Yes, we're ready!" Alaysia, the girls, and boys said.

"Okay, here are your baskets!" She said.

"Wow! Cool!" The boys and girls said in excitement.

"Yeah, it's nice." Alaysia said in a bored voice, but trying not to show it.

"What's wrong, Alaysia?" Estelle asked worryingly.

"I just have boring Easters every year, I want this year to be fun!" Alaysia complained.

"Don't worry, Laysie! We'll make this Easter the best day of your life!" Ace said joyously.

"All right! Thanks guys!" Alaysia said happily.

"Anything for our best friend!" Susan said.

The boys and girls laughed, and got prepared for the day, and they were going to make sure that Alaysia had a amazing Easter! But it'll probably be more than amazing.

"All right, kids! Time to go outside for a scavenger hunt!" said Ms. WV.

"Yay!" The boys and girls shouted.

"Ugh, okay!" Alaysia whined.

So as Ms. WV is telling them how to do it and look for the eggs, Alaysia becomes bored and the boys and girls went to play the game.

"Hey, I think I found one!" Savannah shouted.

"Me too!" Susan said.

Alaysia already knew that this Easter is going to be boring, but suddenly... she saw a green, grassy field with sunshine. She then went over to it, and her friends looked and followed.

"Hey Lays, what'cha doing?" Ace asked.

"I wonder what is this place?" Alaysia wondered.

"Come on! Let's find out!" Ace shouted while taking Alaysia's hand.

The girls and boys smiled and followed.

"Woah, this place is awesome!" Ace and the boys said in awe.

"Alaysia, you found a good place!" Estelle said.

"Yeah, if you say so." Alaysia said while rolling her eyes.

The boys and girls walk around and found more eggs, but these eggs weren't like the ones that Ms. WV had. They're mysterious and somewhat magical....

"Hey, what kind of egg are this?" Julia said.

"Maybe it's a dinosaur egg!" Max said.

"Nah, I don't think so?" Savvy said.

Then the egg floated out of Julia's hands and transformed into something.... something that has long ears, a nose, whiskers, and a fluffy tail!

"What is that thing?!" The kids shouted.

"Hello!" said the mysterious creature.

"Aaaaah!" They all screamed and ran.

Then the creature hopped over the kids and cornering them.

"Don't be afraid!" It said.

"W-w-who a-are y-you?" Alaysia stuttered in fear.

"I'm the Easter Bunny! Thank you for releasing me from my egg!" The giant bunny said

"N-no p-problem." Savvy stuttered.

"What are all of you kids' names?" said the Easter Bunny.

"I'm Alaysia, and this is Estelle, Susan, Savannah, and Julia." Alaysia said.

"And we're the boys, the name's Ace, and this is Max, Jasper, Chooch, and Ritchie." Ace said.

"Nice! Would all of you like to play with me? It's Easter!" The bunny said.

"Sure!" The boys and girls said in excitement.

"Okay! Let's go!" The bunny said in a joyous, goofy voice.

And the kids played with the giant, goofy bunny, especially Alaysia, who was having a good time, until the sun went down, and it was time for all of them to go back with Alaysia's mother.

"Bye, Easter Bunny!" They all said and waved.

"Bye bye, kids!" The Easter Bunny said and waved back.

"So kids, how was your scavenger hunt?" Ms. WV said.

"It-" Stelle began to say, but was cut off.

"It was great!" Alaysia said happily.

"Well I'm glad, come on kids, it's time to go to the park!" said Ms. WV

"Yay! Let's go!" shouted the boys and girls.

So they all went to the park for more fun. And for Alaysia, she's really happy! Now that's a fun and not-boring Easter!
