Chapter 1: Dreams

Cloud's POV

FWAP!

"Ow!" I shouted. A large bump formed on my forehead. "That hurt!"

Stupid boomerang. . .

"Give it a rest, Cloud." Tanner hollered from the house. "You can't use it!"

My head throbbed. I looked behind me to see Tanner pulling things out from chests. He looked distracted, as if he wasn't focused on what he was doing. 

"Here, have this." he said and threw me a purple mushroom. It seemed to be pulsing with darkness.

"Do you even know where this is from? I'll just get Amy to help." 

Tanner sighed. "Psh, fine. Don't come crying back to me if she doesn't help."

Why is he being so arrogant?

"Fine. Would it make you happy if I ate this?" I would hold up the 'mushroom'.

Tanner looked up, smirking. "A little bit." 

My eyes twitch. My thoughts were drawn to the pulsating of the mushroom. . .

Psh. It won't do any harm.

I would take a large bite out of the mushroom. Instantly, a dark fog blasted out of the mushroom, engulfing me in fog.

Ughh. . . What just happened. . . ?

I sat up, and scanned my surroundings. Nothing. It was just total  darkness.

". . .tonight. . .girl. . . .attack. . .kill. . .eye. . " 

I stepped back. "H-hello?"

Suddenly, several flying eyes flew past me. My heart pounded. 

Whats going on. . ?!

CRACK! 

I blacked out.

Wyatt's POV ( Sorry about forgetting him! )

"Cloud?" I fret, shaking her body. "Cloud!?"

Something suddenly shoves me out of the way. "MOVE!" I look behind me to see Tanner, leaning over Cloud.

"This is your fault!" I scream at him. Cloud was the only one that was ever nice to me. She's not dying!

Tanner acted like he didn't hear me. I quickly got up and sprinted past him, towards the house to get Amy. 

"AMY! HURRY!" I scream through the window.

Amy fell from her chair. "Wha- Alright!"

-10 Minutes Later- ( Insert SpongeBob slide )

I paced across the hallway while Amy cares for Cloud inside her room. Tanner was sitting down on the seat in the hallway. Finally, the door opens.

Amy came into the hallway, and relief washed over me at her expression.

"Will she be alright?" Tanner asks, shooting from his seat.

Amy smiles. "She'll be alright, just a minor concussion. Do you know how it happened?" she asked Tanner. 

"No. . . All she did was eat the mushroom, then she fell on the ground unconscious." Tanner fretted.

"Then she possibly got it from hitting the groun-" Amy started, but Cloud burst out of the room.\

"Tanner!" she jumped on him and gave him a bear hug. She turned and looked at me. "Hey Wyatt!"

"Missy, you better get back in that room or I'll keep you in there for another day!" Amy scolded. 

"Why? I feel way better!" Cloud giggled. A long wire hung from her arm, connected to an IV that she was pulling around.

"Just do as I say!" Amy told Cloud.

Cloud sighed. "Fine. . . fine. . . " 

I didn't hear the rest because I was walking away. 

Just a hey. . .?

I thought we were. . . good friends. . . after all these months. . .

Suddenly, I felt something. It felt as though someone was intruding my thoughts.

You feel an evil presence watching you. . .

MWAHAHAH! CLIFFHANGER!
