( P.S Cloud and Tanner are brother and sister )
Tanner's POV
"Done," I shouted to Cloud as I placed the wood door down."
"One minute!" she replied. I'd turn my head. Psh. She's talking to that guy. Wyatt, I think. He looks somewhere around 18, which is close to mine. I really don't care. All he does is tell her things about the world and whatever. But really, we don't need any help. We can do this by ourselves.
A few hours ago, Cloud and I woke up here. I really don't remember much, besides math and stuff. Wyatt told us we were in. . . What was it? The Land of 'Terraria' or something? Something along those lines.
"So, how'd you get here, Wyatt?"
Wyatt seemed paranoid about this question.
"Well, Cloud, I woke up here just like you did." I took a long look at his face. He seemed to be hiding something. . . But I shouldn't be eavesdropping in the first place. I'm guessing Cloud noticed it as well, but she didn't seem to pursue it.
"CLOUD!" I yelled, "ITS DONE!"
"Jeez!" she shouted back. "Erm. . . It's nice." she said as she walked up to me.
"Thanks," I said sarcastically. I have to admit though, it is pretty bad. It looks like someone built a square house out of brown LEGOs. "It's the best we got, though."
"Sooner or later, I can add a bit of. . . how should I put it? Spunk," Cloud proposed.
I'd shudder. "As long as it isn't unicorns and rainbo- OW!" I'd cry as she'd elbow me in the ribs.
"You know me. Take it back."
"Why?" I'd murmur. "Most girls like that stuff."
Suddenly, my head is on the floor. "Take it back!" she'd snap as she leaned down so our eyes meet.
"..sorry.." I'd murmur as she lifts her foot off my back.
"See how easy that was?" Cloud mocked as she walked inside the house.
Ugh.. How did Cloud take me down?
That doesn't matter now, though. I'd eye the horizon as I got up. "Seems it's getting dark. . ." I'd mutter to myself. I don't know what happens at night, but I hope its not bad.
"Bad things happen at night. I'd stay inside if I were you." I heard someone answer behind me, as if he could read my mind.
It was Wyatt. No surprise.
"And how would you know?" My gut twisted.
"I just do," he said as he looked at the ground.
A sudden breeze blew the hair out of my face. "Very nice," I would murmur as I walked into the house.
"Wait! What about me?" He questioned. "You're gonna let me die out here?"
"I really don't care if you live or die. I only care about Cloud." I'd reply coldly as I'd shut the door.
Cloud's POV
"Bum de dum," I'd hum as I placed the grass-woven blankets on the wooden floor. "Done! Now we have some sort of bed."
Creak. I turned around when I heard some people talking. My eyes widened. Tanners talking to Wyatt? Those two seemed ice cold when we got here.
SLAM! The door shut. "So, Tanner. What were you guys talkin' about?" I confronted him.
"Erm, things." he lied.
"What kind of things. . .?" I would look at him with concern.
"Erm. . . Um. . ." he stuttered.
"Man things." Tanner blurted.
"Eh. . . That's nice." I replied quickly as I placed down rope sewn together into pillows.
"Woah! How'd you make those?" he gasped.
I would sigh. "I used your sword, silly! Remember when I asked for it?"
"Oh."
"Also, wheres Wyatt? I overheard him saying something about 'dangerous at night' or something around that," I questioned him.
Tanner blew his hair off his face. "He wanted to say outside. He.. erm.. said he could defend himself."
I'd stare at him. "Well, I'll ask again."
Tanner yelps. "Nononono!"
"Too late." I smirk as I open the door. Wyatt was sitting on a tree stump, reading some book. "Hey, Wyatt!" I'd call. "Wanna come inside?"
He turned around. "Hm? Oh sureeeeeeeee." He chuckled as he looked at Tanner.
"C'mon in!" I waved at him.
He smiled and walked towards us as the last bit of sunlight disappeared.
Soooo? How did y'all like it?
I have some complaints for my own book...
1. That cover is terrible.
2. I really need to learn to make thoughts into actions and when I do thoughts, put them in italics.
Yea.
But was it good?
I hope so.
