They are rough, harsh, distant, and cold. The last people she wants to live with.
But what happens when she gets a little too close to these boys and things may not be as bad as they seem.
And what will happen when Astrid finds out that they have been ordered to protect her?

FUN FACT!
Igot the idea for this story in a dream! I had been wanting to write a werewolf story of my own, since I read so many of them. So I was trying to think of an original plot that hadn't already been used a million times over, with no luck. And then one night I had a dream about a girl named Astrid whos father was killed and five men show up at her doorstep..... and then stuff happens (if I said more than I would be spoiling the book). Oh yeah, and the five guys were werewolves (that's not really a spoiler is it???). So, yeah, the plot for this story came from a dream. Or, well, at least the backbone for this story did.
So when I woke up I thought "I could write a story about this" and wrote it all down, adding a few other details as I did. Later on that day, when I was at school I consulted my best friend ( )about it and Cross My Heart was born.
