Chapter 9

Charlie's Pov

I slowly sat up in bed and saw Hayes next to me I looked around I noticed I was in Hayes bed I got up and snook out and went downstairs "leaving so soon sweetie" Elizabeth asked me "yeah my mom is probably worrying about me" I said "ok bye" she said and I walked out the door it took 8 minutes to walk home I walked into the door "mom is looking for you" Michael said as I walked into the door "where is she" I asked "I don't know why don't you quit being lazy and go look" Michael said "yeah i'm the lazy one" I said under my breath "what did you say" Michael asked "nothing!" I yelled and walked into my moms room "where have you been I have been worried sick" my mom said "I texted Michael to tell him to tell you i'm spending the night at Hayes house last night" I said then showed her the messages she walked out of the room and I heard her yelling at Michael I walked out and he glared at me "oh yeah happy birthday boys" my mom said before walking into the kitchen "huh I guess I forgot it was our birthday"I said "so did I well happy birthday Charlie" Michael said "happy birthday Michael" I said my dad walked in with a package "here bud this came in the mail for you" my dad said before handing me the package I opened it "it is a card and a hat with a H on it" I said and opened the card "i'm hoping this arrived on your birthday it was supposed too happy birthday my love I love you❤️" it said "the H stands for Hayes" Michael said "yeah I figured it out" I said I put the hat on and turned the tv on and watched tv till I fell asleep again because I was still tired

Jade's Pov

I walked over to Hayes and knocked on the door "hello are you here for Nash" Hayes mom asked "no i'm here to talk to Hayes" I said "ok he is up in his room first room on the left" she said then I walked up the stairs and knocked "come in"Hayes said and I walked in to find him only in boxers I blushed and turned around "just put some shorts on or something" I said "ok you can turn around" Hayes said "so why did you come over"Hayes asked "came over to talk about Charlie's birthday party I know you are planning something"I said "yes a bonfire here we have a large property" Hayes said "yeah that could work we should invite over your friends snd some of mine and I can get ahold of Charlie's friends" I said "yeah Nash and I are gonna get the party supplies we are gonna have a barbecue so we have to get some food and my stepdad will get the wood for the fire" Hayes said I walked over and sat by him I watched him tweeting "hey guys go wish @Charlieisamazing a happy birthday for me" "do you really have to do that" I asked "yes yes I do and I have a question for you"Hayes said "I might have an answer to that question" I said "why are you here if you hate me" Hayes asked "I don't hate you I um actually like you"I said "oh" was all he said then we looked at each other and we slowly leaned in and we started kissing "H-Hayes" we pulled apart and looked over to see Charlie "J-Jade" "Charlie its not what it looks like"I said both Hayes and I ran after him we chased him out to the driveway

Charlie's Pov

"leave me alone!" I said I ran all the way home into my room and locked the door "please open the door Char it was an accident please just let me in" Hayes said begging me to let him in "no go away Hayes it might have been an accident but it never should have happened I can't even trust my best friend" I said before crying "just let me in and explain"Hayes said then Jade started talking "it was an accident I don't know how it happened don't blame Hayes its all my fault" Jade said "yes it is your fault now get out of my house!"I yelled then I heard my mom start talking "I think its best if your both leave" she said and they left "they are gone you can open the door" she said I opened the door and she walked over to my bed and hugged me "my own best friend betrayed me" I said "i'm sorry sweetie it will get better I promise" she said as she got up and left 5 minutes later Michael came in "what happened"he asked "you wouldn't care" I said "I do care why wouldn't I your my brother" Michael said "yeah then why do I have a fractured arm" I said about to cry again "i'm sorry that wasn't supposed to happen now tell me what happened" Michael said "I saw Jade kissing Hayes" I said and started crying then Michael pulled me into a hug "i'm sorry bud" He said "please don't cry she was a horrible friend for doing that but it will get better"Michael said then left the room I laid down and went to sleep
