Kevin POV

It was the night of my date with Miley. I really like her and I'm starting to care for her, even though we are not dating. But my mom would never approve me dating a girl in a gang and someone who smokes. But could I do it? Could I change all of that? I found out from Jada that her grades are slipping and her mom is pissed at her for coming home late every night. But anyways I went to take a shower and came out 20 minutes later. I got dressed in some white jeans, a black and white flannel, a tan T-shirt, and my air force ones. I throw on my gold chains, a hat, and some cologne so I can smell good for my future baby-girl. Next thing I know I get a text from her.

Future BBG: So we are really doing this date thing huh?

Me: YESHHHH MA'AM

Future BBG: UGH... ok. Now I need to call out of TFO and say I'm sick or something.

Me: 😘😘😘

Future BBG: You picking me up?

Me: Yep. Be ready in an hour.

Future BBG: kk 💜

While she is getting ready I am going to stop at the flower shop and get her some roses because you know keviekev from the boogie down Bronx is romantic😉.

Miley POV

Kevin only gave me an hour to get ready. So the first thing I do is call J. I had to tell him I was sick from smoking all that weed the other day, which was a half-truth. I did smoke 3 blunts. After that, I then got in the shower and I decided to straighten my hair. It came out kinda poofy because Kevin only gave me 1 hour to get ready.

By the time I was finished putting on my jewelry the door bell rang. I walked downstairs and my mom was there.

Mom: Where are you going dressed like that.

Miley: On a date.

Mom: Your dad would never approve.

Miley: How would you know, you weren't around? And I would like you to stop bringing up my father.

The doorbell rang again, and Jada came downstairs.

Jada: OOOOHHHH MILEYYY LOOKING LIKE A SNACKKKK

Thanks for the save. I did a quick spin and ran to the door. I opened it to see Kevin looking fine as all get out with flowers.

Kevin: Damn Ma!

I look back and saw my mom, and I stretched my eyes at him. He apologized and Jada just pushed us out the house. Another save, i need to thank her later. We got in the car and Jada ran out the door. I rolled down the window.

Jada: Miley... (breathes hard)... you forgot your dad's necklace.

Miley: OMG THANKS I ALMOST FORGOT IT. And another save from Jada. Thanks for everything. Wanna do something this weekend?

Jada: OMG YESS PLEASE.

Miley: Just think about what you wanna do by the time I get back.

Kevin: If she even comes back.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

Miley: I'm coming back.

We all laughed.

Jada: Have fun guys.

Kevin: We will.

He pulled off and we were on our way.

Miley: So what are we doing on this "date".

Kevin: Dinner and a surprise.

Miley: What's the surprise.

Kevin: Wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now would it?

Miley: No type of hint either?

Kevin: Alive without breath, As cold as death; Never thirsty, ever drinking, All in mail never clinking.

Miley: What was that a poem?

Kevin: Its a riddle. The answer is your hint to the surprise.

All I did was replay it in my mind. We got to the restaurant and we were talking and laughing, but the riddle was still in my mind. I don't let things go easily.

Waiter: Anything else for you guys tonight?

Miley: No I'm fine.

Kevin: Yea me too.

Waiter: Its going to be a beautiful night tonight. Full moons don't come often you know.

Miley: Yea I saw that on my calendar.

Then it hit me. The answer.

Miley: FULL MOON. THAT'S THE ANSWER TO THE RIDDLE.

I jumped up so fast making everyone in the restaurant look our way.

Kevin: And the surprise. You ready?

Miley: Yea.

He grabbed my hand and we walked out the restaurant.
