I'll be honest again, I also considered writing this out, but I only managed it as a one-shot. Continue what I couldn't, if you can.

Chapter One: Cliffs and Silver
I lay by the edge of a cliff, so close to the edge that one wrong movement would cause me to fall and be slammed into the jagged rocks below. And I was humming casually. Oh, you're probably wondering who I am. I am Percy Jackson, former son of Poseidon, and Accused of Betraying Olympus.
Yeah.... But I used to have everything any demigod would've wanted, though many do not understand what I went through to get to where I am - or was- now, or, back then. Yet they were right. Sure, I had glory, a girl, fame, and whatnot, but glory and gore go hand in hand. I stared up at the stormy clouds in the still blue sky.
Then a silver parka glinted in the sunlight, and I heard a muffled cuss. I began to hum "You Found Me" by The Fray almost sarcastically. Where were you? Screaming for my blood and helping with my torture. Through my humming I heard a muffled argument, a debate. About me. Wow. I can feel the hate today.
I can hear better than last time, ever since my second, lonely, er, trip to the Pit of Damnation. I caught a few words, instead of just the gist and idea. "Stupid, lying, cheating male!" Thalia hissed. "Don't worry, we'll find him, torture him, and send him back to his punishment, and Annabeth will get her turn." Artemis soothed.
Unbelievable rage swept through me. Annabeth's new boyfriend, that she got before breaking it off, was the reason that I was in this mess! Did I ever cheat on her? No! Now all the sudden everyone is like, Ughh, look at that disgusting, lying, scumbag that cheated on Annabeth and betrayed Olympus! HE'S THE REASON OUR FAMILY IS DEAD! I gritted my teeth.
Something coaxed the sparks of anger within me. Oh, it's always about Annabeth. Annabeth this, Annabeth that. Oh, Annabeth is somehow managing to tolerate that dumb wannabe Savior and is actually dating him! Oh, Annabeth was actually the one who cheated on that dumb crybaby, but we'll just look the other way and say that he was the cheater! No one likes him, never did, and never will. The sparks became flames, and the flames became a roaring fire.
I opened my eyes, feeling the fire burn inside me. I was gritting my teeth so hard that it hurt. Oh, she never loved you. Don't you want revenge? Just a taste? I could help you with that, balance the scales, make everyone open their eyes and truly feel pain. The Olympians need to be brought down. They are unworthy to rule. Join me. A sleepy voice whispered.
Gaea? I asked in my mind guardedly. Yes, child. Wake me. Cleanse me. You are a pure soul. Anyone would realize that. The minor gods are once again on our side. When the Olympians degraded you, and threw you down there, they rebelled. You once were able to make those pesky gods open their eyes, but they are too far gone now. Gaea's sleepy voice whispered persuasively.
Her words made sense. The fire within fueled my want for revenge. My eyes narrowed, and I felt them getting cold. Something was changing. I got up at the same time that Thalia stepped out, a mini army of girls in silver parkas pointing their bows at me, and Artemis was pointing a single arrow at me. A night-night dart.
Revenge. I let that sweet thought roll around in my mind. The real thing will be better. Artemis opened my mouth to tell me to surrender, but she faltered when she saw my eyes. Thalia didn't seem to notice. "You stupid male broke Annabeth's heart, when you cheated on her and betrayed Olympus." My former cousin sneered. She might as well thrown a match on dry grass.
I exploded. "Oh, it's always 'Annabeth this, Annabeth that'. I see now that she never loved me." I began to rant. Thalia sneered at me, no doubt thinking I was lying. "'Oh, look, Annabeth is actually managing to tolerate the dumb wannabe Savior! Oh, look, she's dating him! Oh, a smart girl like that wouldn't date him, but it's amusing to see him fall for it!'" I mocked, and from Thalia's face, I know that she once thought that.
I paused in my ranting to sneer: "She deserves a medal for best actor." Then I continued. "'Oh, Annabeth was actually the one who cheated on that dumb, crybaby wannabe Savior, but we'll look the other way and say that he was the cheater! After all, nobody likes him, nobody cares, what a dork for falling for it! Ha!'" I sneered. Thalia looks shocked. "But..." She started.
I glared at her. "I'm smarter than I look now, I had time. Half a year here is 500 years down there." I spat. Thalia regains her composure, and she sneers at me. "We're taking you down, traitor." Thalia spits out. I glare at her savagley. "Oh, still think I'm a traitor? I'll show you what me being a traitor is like." I snarl.
Shock and then realization cross across Artemis' face. But by then I'm stomping on the ground, causing earthquakes. "I, PERCY JACKSON, FORMER SON OF POSEIDON, ACCEPT MOTHER EARTH, AKA, GAEA'S, OFFER!" I yell. The entire ground rumbles, and a crack opens up, swallows me, and the scar is gone. As I'm falling, I hear a voice yell, "I'M SORRY!". And resentment filled me.
