The next day, the household decided to play hide and seek. Of all the things they could have done, Ivan insisted that they all participate.

"Ivan can be fun in a child like way too, you know" Estonia remarked.

Ivan didn't indicate that he had been in Tino's dreams last night. Tino's heart raced at the recollection of his dreams.

" Ok, so I will count... and the rest of you will have to hide." Ivan said as he started counting, a mischievous smile on his face as he stared at Tino. Tino's face turned a shade of pink. Latvia turned to Estonia, surprised as if to ask, Estonia nodded quietly.

Latvia immediately went to hide under the couch. Estonia walked around a bit before settling down into a closet, cleverly disguising himself as a laundry basket. Tino was dumbstruck, he didn't know where he should hide.

Ivan was at 50. Tino wandered down the hallway aimlessly, his pendent faintly glowing and growing fainter. He stared at the old family portraits, most of them were the trio, some were the soviet union era, and some he could not tell which time they were from at all. One of the pictures had Russia and another person who looked like China, but with a silly hat. Tino looked around for a compartment, a corner, anything. Finally he found a red lever behind an old grand piano.

Estonia likes to play that sometimes, he remembered fondly. He pulled the lever and there was a secret door, just as he was hoping for.

Ivan will never find me now, haha he laughed to himself as he slid in.

He fell a few feet into what looked like another hallway... but this one was different. There were no pictures or anything of value, as the wallpaper was fading and needed repair. It was a lot colder in this section as well.

Tino took out his trusty cell phone as he navigated through the dimly lit hall. He thought he heard a tapping noise... then a few muffled grunts.

He headed towards the noises, there were a few doorways leading to several rooms.

It's as if the house has a whole other layer to it...

His footsteps echoed, as he came to one of the doors. The muffling grew louder, it sounded...almost human.

Then he heard kicking, something was definitely kicking the door, and screeching.

Tino tried to open the door, but it was locked. Tino tried looking for a key, but could not find it in time. The screeching died down, as he heard something sob.

He entered into a room with a bunch of old war posters and textbooks, there was a brown desk with an eerily placed modern looking laptop. He checked the drawer and found an old black key.

I don't know if I want to see what's behind that door... he thought to himself.

Ivan has been hiding something...I need to find out what

Reluctantly, Tino opened the door. He saw a tan-ish brown haired man with glowing green eyes, but he was tied up in ropes, his mouth duct taped. The man stared at him in horror. A light suddenly filled the room.

Tino looked down.

His pendent was glowing a bright orange.

---

The man's name was Antonio, otherwise known as Spain.

Tino learned that he had been trapped down here for weeks for refusing Ivan's offer.

" He wanted me to live with him.... He was so good to me, nice, fun... but when I told him the truth, he decided that I would a stay anyway, until I accept... and become one.", Antonio cried.
