Chapter OneYou see, most fairy tales start with something along this line "Once Upon a Time, there was a princess that blah blah blah" or maybe even a cliché quote that has been used so many times that its lost its meaning, but my story wasn't a fairy tale. Nope, not even close because I wasn't a princess, and so instead, my story started like this.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"If you would only move your leg." I hissed at him under my breath, holding on to the fence as tight as I can
"I can't, and can you shut the hell up because this was your idea from the beginning." he hissed back
"Yeah? But I wasn't the one that went out like a fucking idiot to paint the main door, was I." I whispered, rolling my eyes.
"Okay okay god, can you shut up I hear their footsteps coming closer."
"You don't tell me what to do, get that straight." I whispered
"Oh my god okay just please shut up."
"Are you deaf or do you have short loss memory."
"Neither." he muttered and I could just imagine him rolling his eyes
"Yeah than you should remember that I just told to not tell me what to do."
"In a situation like this, yes I would."
I scoffed "I've been in this situation millions of times, so stop babying about it."
"No one can win in an argument with you, can they." he muttered under his breath the words that I had heard come from his mouth numerous of times
I smirked "That's what I'm good at." I replied with the same line I'd reply with every time he'd tell me that.
"Hey do you think they're gone yet. I'm getting really tired and I don't think I can hold on for more than this. "He whispered, his grip loosening on the fence bars slightly
Truth be told I was getting tired too, this was the longest they've ever searched and not given up yet and this fence was really not helping considering the fact that it had bars that were really slippery and my arms were going limp. I knew it would be soon that I would fall off and it would be even sooner for him
"Yeah I don't hear any voices, they've probably given up and went home," I whispered a little louder, chuckling to myself, they were just so predictable
"Yeah okay climb down first then since you're under me."
I obliged without opening my mouth this time, as I climbed down I heard a tree branch snap somewhere and froze
"Did you hear that?" I whispered, straining my ear to hear better
"No, come on just go my arms are getting really tired and it wouldn't be very pleasant if I fall on you." he hissed and I knew he wasn't lying about his arms getting tired because I could see that he was losing his grip
"OK OK just hold on for a sec." I muttered whilst climbing down the fence
I climbed to the ground and stretched out my limb hands in front of me while Andre climbed down the fence, unlike me he had no ease whatsoever in climbing fences and I chuckled to myself, I always wondered why I was friends with him
"Let's get outta here." he said after he had accomplished his obviously difficult mission of climbing down the fence
"What's the rush? It's not like they would actually find us." I scoffed "I wonder how these people catch criminals."
