Mission

"Alright eveyone today our mission is to get more crates." This was gonna be my first mission with the crew. I'm so nervous but I'm also so excited. I hope I don't mess things up, or get someone captured or hurt. "Now we need what's in those crates. It is really important, now we are going to be split up into 3 groups. Hera, and Chopper will stay in the Ghost for a quick getaway. Zeb, Sabine you two will be cover fire on the roof. Finally Ezra, (Y/N), and I we'll be getting the crates." Everyone just nod and we got into our positions.

"(Y/N). Be careful out there ok?"

"Of course Ezra. But... Only if you promise to be careful to." He came up to me and hugged me and of course I hugged back.

"I will don't worry about me (Y/N). I'm more worried about you this is your first mission, and I promise I'll keep you safe." I pulled back a little and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled at me. I looked into his beautiful eyes and he looked into mine. The moment just felt perfect.

"Ok you two lovebirds lets get going." It was Kanan.... Again he ruined a perfect moment. Ezra and I let go of each other and followed Kanan to where the crates would be. We snuck around looking for the crates when we finally found them we grabbed them and made a run for it. The Stormtroopers were shooting and shooting, there aim was off but..... One hit me right in the stomach.

"(A/N)! NO!!!" Ezra came running towards me. I saw the worried expression on his face before I blacked out, falling into Ezra's arms.

Small time skip, back in the ship (Got what they needed) brought to you by Ezra's lightsaber. A blaster and a lightsaber all in one lightsaber/blaster.

Ezra P.O.V.

No! How could I let this happen to her!? I'm such an idiot! This is all my fault! I should have watched over her!

"Ezra. Calm down. She'll be ok. You shouldn't get angry with yourself"

"I know Kanan but... How could I let this happen to her? I promised her I wouldn't let anything happen to her and I didn't keep that promise... I let her down... I-I couldn't stop them from hurting her. it gets me so mad because.... I-I-I love her. I just feel so powerless. I couldn't help her."

"Ezra you saved her, you caught her before she fell. Now she's here on the ship recovering because you stopped to help her. And if you really feel this way about her then you should tell (Y/N) how you feel."

"Your right. But she might not feel the same about me." Sabine walked in right when I said that. Great now (Y/N)'s roommate knows.

"You have got to be kidding me Ezra. She totally likes you back. Have you seen the way she looks at you? She is practically in love with you."

"You really think so?"

"I know so. She's told me."

"She told you and your telling me this? Isn't that just wrong that you told a secret like that?"

"Nope. You both like each other why not help get you two together?" I looked at her an nod. I looked back at (Y/N) and kissed her on the forehead. "She should wake up in a few hours. We should get some rest too."

(Y/N) P.O.V.

I woke up and realized my stomach wasn't much in pain anymore and I was back on the Ghost. I guess Ezra really did protect me and brought me to safety. I looked around the room and saw Ezra sleeping in a seat near my bed. Holding my hand. I smiled and intertwined our fingers together. Maybe 20 minutes passed and Ezra woke up. "Morning Ezra."

"Oh good morning (Y/N)." He looked at our hands then back up at me. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you better."

"Ezra it wasn't your fault. I should have been more careful, besides your here by my side while I'm recovering aren't you?" He just nod. "Then you don't have to do anything else this is more than enough."
