Here goes Mark's car, I'm so thankful I have them in my life.

"I'm leaving!"

"Oh, I don't have money here. I know you’ll find a way."

"Ehhhh?"

Again? This has been going for a week.

"Yes, I'm leaving then." I can't do anything about it.

Jane's POV

Here comes Bree, she looks sad, I wonder what's bothering her.

*door opens*

"Oh, you're here already?"

"Can’t you see? What’s the use of your eyes? Are those just for display my dear?"

"Shut up Jane!"

"You two are so funny. Let's go now?"

"Tsk... *whispering* Bree, what's wrong?"

"It’s been a week since aunt Virgie hasn't given me allowance. I think there's something wrong. I'm worried. Uncle also hasn't been home for four days."

"Really? I think you should stop calling her aunt then. It’s got to do with casino. You don't need to worry about her. Like she cares about you. Huhh!"

I just don't really like that Virgie. Yes, I call her that, she doesn’t deserve my respect. At first she accepted Bree but after that she began to spend all of Bree's inheritance. She even has her to do all the work in their house. She's always at the casino, spending her –stolen-  money. And now, she won't give Bree allowance? I don't get that at all.

Author’s POV

Last day of the week, everyone’s hoping for the day to come to an end. Amber Williams and her friends are in class with their Calculus teacher, a very boring one.  They’ve been passing notes to each other over the past hour.

*NOTE*

Jane: Pssst!!!

Cath: What?

Jane: Nothing! Haha. Pass the note to Bree.

Bree: What do you need?

Jane: Nothing! Pass the note to Cath!

Bree: I don’t want to. :P

Jane: Hmmmp!! You wanna go with us later?

Bree: Go where?

Jane: We’re going karaoke.

Bree: I don’t think so. I have to be early to work tomorrow.

Jane: Then again. Cath, you coming right?

Cath: Course I will.

*END*

“And that ends our discussion” everyone rejoiced. At last, the day is over. Everyone’s got plans for the night. Some go clubbing, drinking, dating and some, like Jane go shopping.

“Where are we heading to?” Cath sat at the front seat as they rode Jane.

“The usual of course” Jane’s looking all excited for she already has a dress in mind to buy.

Amber’s POV

I really wish I could go with the girls but now that I have another part-time job on Fridays I just can’t really make time for them.

“Just where is it exactly?” I’ve been roaming around the block for a while but can’t find the coffee shop I’m about to work to. Ten minutes left before my duty starts and I can’t still find the place.

“Aish! First day of work and I’m late. Ouch!” Just great. I’m late and my clothes are ruined. It’s kind of hot. Ohmy! It’s hot! “Ouch! It’s hot!”  I don’t think taking my clothes off would work. Nothing would.

“Oh shit. Miss, are you ok?”

“What do you think? Spilling your coffee all over me is fine?” The moment I laid my eyes on the culprit, O-M-G! He’s so handsome! As in, so HOT! Hotter than the coffee he spilled.

“So hooot~ <3<3” What did I just say? Hmmppph!

“I don’t actually think that it’s my fault. You weren’t watching your step. Don’t blame it all on me.” Fine, this so handsome guy has some attitude. I like it.

“Well, shouldn’t you just even say sorry for what you have done? I’m in a hurry here, I’m late for work and now I’m here, clothes wet, and arguing with you ‘Stranger guy’.”

“Huh! Stranger guy? ‘I’M SORRY’ but I can’t say sorry to you.”

“Hey! Aren’t you Amber, the part-time worker? Mrs. Thomson has been looking for you. You’re late.” Oh, thank God! Saved by the bell.

“Oh yes. Just call me Bree. I’m coming!” That random guy really saved my ass. Not even turning back, I ran off towards my ‘co-worker’. Bye stranger guy.

Author’s POV

With all the working, Amber can’t keep up with her friends and her schoolwork. She had been having a lot of sleepless nights keeping up with all her deadlines coming. Not only that, Virgie’s still worrying her –she stopped calling her aunt since Jane’s ranting. She’s been neglecting any duties at home given not giving Amber allowance, not even bothering to take a bath or eat regularly. With Amber’s uncle gone for more than enough for Amber to deeply worry, she is in a dilemma.

“Amber Williams, meet me at my office after class.” Amber’s Geometry Teacher mentioned after math period. Disappointment can be heard from the tone of her teacher.

“Amber. What happened?” Cath’s worried tone grabbed the attention of everyone in class. This made all their classmates listen attentively to the conversation.

“No, nothing’s wrong. I’m just kind of out of it. There’s nothing to worry about.” Amber tried to assure her Cath but it was obvious with her eye bags that her friends’ got a lot to worry about her.

“*whispering*Ok fine, for now I’ll let you off the hook. If anything happens again, you’ve got to explain all of it. I mean it, ALL of it. I don’t care what kind of problem it is. We are going to help you.”  Cath being the leader of their circle always keeps an eye on everyone and Amber is not an exception.

This made Amber grateful and really happy for she has friends at her back. Although she wants to tell them her worries, she can’t just yet. Not yet if she thinks she can solve it on her own. Amber is a type of woman who doesn’t give up without giving it her all. She does not want to worry and bother her friends with her personal problems. For now, she will have to do her best to solve her problems.
