When Brian parked the car in front of his house, I couldn't help but smile at the familiar sight. I'd spent so much time here that it felt really nice to be back.

"Do you need me to help you carry something?" He asked before we both got out.

I shook my head and got my backpack. "No, it's fine, I just have a few clothes in here, nothing heavy." I followed him to the house and waited for him to unlock the door.

"Well, come in, and make yourself comfortable, as always." He smiled at me before we both went inside. "Do you want to eat something?" He asked, making me laugh.

"I'm starting to wonder if you're trying to make me fat, you know? Whenever we get here, the first thing you do is ask me if I want to eat something.."

Brian laughed softly and shrugged. "I don't want you to go hungry, I want you to feel comfortable."

"If I want food, I promise I'll either tell you or I'll help myself. I doubt that I'll ever be starving here." I took off my shoes and put my backpack down. "I could go for something to drink though. And then I'm really curious to hear about our plans for Tenerife."

Before I could do it myself, Brian had already gone into the kitchen to get me a glass of water. "Here you are, my dear."

"Thank you. I can hear you haven't come up with an alternative for babe yet?" I teased and took a sip.

Brian chuckled and shook his head. "No... actually, kind of. But I think it needs your approval."

I raised my eyebrows and looked at him sceptically. "What have you come up with? Don't think that trying to come up with awful nicknames will make me agree with babe."

"We'll see, we will see, my dear. Okay, so I was listening to Hendrix yesterday, and I sort of though... foxy lady." He tilted his head to the side a little and smirked at me.

"Foxy lady?" I asked. I had to admit I hadn't expected something like that, even though I had asked him to be creative and he had certainly done that.

Brian just nodded and smiled innocently at me. "Yes, exactly. It would certainly be fitting."

"Mhm," was all I said. "We'll see. I'm going to have to hear that being used before I can decide."

"Fair enough. You'll get as much time as you want, my dear."

I smiled at him and shrugged. "I do like my dear, but you're free to be as creative as you want to be."

"Sugarplum?" He suggested, smirking. "Bubblebutt? Dreamboat? Boo?"

"Stop, stop," I interrupted him, laughing softly. "Please don't call me any of that... come on, seriously. What kind of nickname is dreamboat anyway? I'm a person, not a boat. And Bubblebutt?! That's just a whole new level of weird.." I shook my head and looked at him disapprovingly.

"You said I could be as creative as I want to be," he defended himself, smiling widely.

"Fine, I'm going to correct myself here, as creative as you want to be within reason.."

Brian smirked and pulled me close to him, dropping a kiss on the top of my head. "Alright... you seem to like conventional names a little more. How about angel? Sweetheart? Shortie?"

I sighed and shook my head. "I thought we were off to a good start," I sighed softly.

Brian laughed, obviously knowing what I was referring to. "You know, I do like shortie."
