Lila Black wished more than anything that she didn't have to hide herself. She was a Psychic and a well known one at that. Her sister Samantha was the only known learner in the world which made them have to go into severe measures. First to go was their appearance. Lila traded her short straight black hair for puny red curls. She traded her unusual dark blue eyes for bright green contacts. Her pale skin had stayed the same, but she missed her old looks. Her name had also changed to Natalia Ciara Averin the daughter of the Russian actress with her brown haired adopted sister Lauren. Samantha's new look was amazing. She got straight brown hair and her light blue eyes stayed the same, but that was only because Lila couldn't change that. " Natalia are you coming down to eat." Her mother called from downstairs. She had been dreading going to eat because they had company. She was a good actress, but it still worried her. " Coming Mother." She yelled before looking at herself. She had put on a short green dress and it honestly made her look like Christmas. She came downstairs and sat by her sister. " You are going to be acting in the show Pain of being Separated it will be staring actress and singer Lorelei Highland." He said pointing to the blonde haired woman sitting beside him. " Hi I am Lora and I'll be staying here to get to know your mother a little better." Lora smiled.
" Ok that's alright with us." Her mother said with a strained smile. She knew exactly what was wrong with her staying. If she found out about Samantha it would mean that they would be sent to a facility where who knew what would happen. " Oh thank you! I love getting to know my fellow actresses. Matt you can leave I'm sure I will be fine." Lora exclaimed excitedly. Matt nodded before leaving the house. " Well I am Ciara and theses are my daughters Natalia and Lauren." Her mother introduced. " I know I tend to know a lot naturally." She said with a smile. " Cocky much." Lila said with scoff. Her mother gave her a look, but Lora just laughed. " I let you in on a secret, I just pretend like I am a know it all." Lora said her voice hardly above a whisper. Lila shared a look with her sister silently asking " is she one." Samantha gave her a short nod and Lila sighed in relief." You don't have to hide here we are all gifted." Samantha said and her mother gave her a confused look. They usually never revealed themselves so early, but she seemed trustworthy. " Oh well then let me properly introduce myself I am Kore Rina Fischer and I am a learner." She said with a shy smile as her hair turned into medium length black hair do with purple highlights. Her light blue eyes had stayed the same, but she seemed to grow unnaturally pale." I am Lila I'm an illusionist." Lila said a small smile spread across her face. " Shape shifter." Her mother said. They all looked towards Samantha expectantly. " Samantha Black and I'm a learner too." She smirked. " Well it's been a while since I met another learner it's a pleasure." Lora or as she was now Kore said changing back to her previous look. " The pleasures ours." Samantha said. " Can I ask something of you." Lila asked. " Of course go right ahead." Kore said. " can you sing for us." Lila asked. " I can if you'd like what do you want me to sing." Kore asked curiously.
" Titanium." Samantha said immediately. " I haven't sang that song in a while, but I will try my best." Kore said. " We have a studio if you want to use it." Samantha said leading the way to their studio. " That would be wonderful." Kore said walking onto the stage. She started singing quietly and it was really pretty. As the song continued she grew louder and more confident. There was two things Lila really liked about Kore's singing: one was that it was full of emotions and the second was the way her voice could reach extremely high notes and still sound amazing. Kore finished and they exploded into applause. " Thank you." Kore smiled brightly. " That was amazing." Samantha gaped. " I've had decades of practice." Kore shrugged.
" I just remembered where I recognized your name from." Samantha exclaimed. " And where's that." Kore said with a intrigued smile. " Your the learner who survived the Holocaust. Is that really how you became a learner." Samantha said excitedly as Kore turned pale. " Samantha." Her mother said warily. " It's fine, but no I was born a learner. I was taken to Auschwitz when I was 13 and they gassed me." Kore said shortly. " If they gassed you how are you still alive." Lila said horrified. " I don't know some kind of miracle I guess. Either way after I survived they did do testing and experimentation on me. I was there until I was 18." Kore said. " But the Holocaust only lasted 3 years." Her mother said. " It was going on a lot longer then America knew." Kore said. " Oh well then." Her mother said awkwardly. Kore just laughed and turned towards Lila. " Do you mind showing me around?" Kore asked. Lila nodded as she led Kore around the house. When the tour was done she looked towards Kore and a question came to her mind. " Do you have any family?" Lila asked. " Two sister and a niece I think." Kore said. " What do you mean I think." Lila asked. " I had two sisters growing up. One was named Calissa and the other was named Cynthia they were twins. My sister Calissa lived in Russia until she was murdered along with her husband and their only daughter was never found. My other sister Cynthia lives near Rhode Island." Kore said sadly. " I'm sorry for your loss." Lila said sympathetically since she had lost her father. " It's fine I've gotten over it, now I'm going to bed after all you have school tomorrow." Kore smiled before she disapered into her room leaving Lila with just one thought: just who was Kore Fishcer.
