*Two weeks later*
Today is the day. The day where I leave my hometown. The place I have stayed in since I was born.
I packed the last of my things away in my flat and I looked around sadly. I don't want to leave my beautiful flat! I love it! However, London is the one place where I belong and where my dreams can come true.
I made my way downstairs to my car. As I opened the reception door, I could see my family and friends crowded around cheering. I felt a lovely warm feeling inside of me. I dropped my bags and ran towards them and gave everyone a group hug. I hugged and kissed everyone goodbye individually and then I got into my car.
"LOVE YOU!" they all shouted. I also heard sobbing in the background.
I was sat in my car for several minutes just sitting there over analysing things and how I was going out into the big wide world all by myself. I snapped myself back into reality and slotted my car into gear and drove away. Everyone was waving frantically behind me and I tooted my horn and drove on.
I must of been driving for 3 hours. I decided to stop in at some services and go to the loo and get something to eat. I pulled my car up. Grabbed my handbag and locked my car. I was walking hastily to the 'Welcome Break' to get some coffee when I suddenly saw a swarm of girls screaming. They were crowded around the Costa shop which had been closed temporarily. It looked to me as if they were all fangirling! I contiunued on walking, trying to ignore the screaming.
I got to the counter.
"Hi, can I have a skinny latte please?" I asked the waitress.
"Yes, Go and take a seat and I shall bring it over to you." she said with a warm and friendly smile.
I walked over to the nearest available chair and sat down. Considering I had been sat down for 3 hours, I felt as if I had been standing for hours. The friendly waitress bought over my coffee.
"Seen the fangirling and screaming girls outside Costa?" she said with a dull and irritated face.
"Yeah, what is going on?" I asked her curiously.
"Apparently, there is a popular boy band in there. They had to close the shop so they could go in there and no customers can get it." she said.
"Oh right. Makes sense I suppose." I said simply.
The waitress jogged back over to the counter to serve another customer who was waiting impatiently.
I sipped my coffee slowly and observed my surroundings. I walked over to the map indicating where I am now. I was just 30 miles away from London. The pure excitement then rushed through me and I grabbed my handbag. I waved and thanked the waitress as I was leaving and she waved back.
I managed to wrestle myself through the swarm of girls still crowding around Costa. I quite tiredly, approached my car, unlocked it and slumped back into my car. I put the keys into the ignition when suddenly the screaming went up an octave and the girls were jumping around uncontrollably. I looked up and I saw 4 guys jogging over to a small, privately owned bus. I watched them as they got into the bus single-filed. The guy at the back had gorgeous, curly hair. He looked over at me. For a second butterflies turned into wasps in my stomach and I was fixated into looking at him. One of the other guys grabbed his arm and pulled him into the bus before he was attacked by the screaming girls. The lifelong stare then ended and the wasps died down inside of me.
I reversed out of my parking space and continued down the road until I reached the motorway.
"Only 30 miles to go" I kept saying to myself.
