Energy pulsed throughout
Never stopping, an endless flourish
Giving life to all ends, no doubt
Coursing through my veins,to nourish
My heart the engine of the body
Providing the adrenaline rush
Igniting the sparks in my limbs
All this energy gives rest to my soul
This sensation is exhilarating
As the mind, soul and body
Reach equilibrium
Each fueling the other in an unbreakable chain
The state of focus, exorbitant
As the muscles rage on
with powers of hurricanes
While The spirit, calmer than that of a gentle summers day
All of this taking place
While the common lounge around
Every step bringing unimaginable satisfaction
Feeding my hunger for more
To most, it is just a run
To some, it is hell on earth
To me, it is a constant craving
For the adrenaline rush
The true feeling of power
In every fibre of my body
Every inch of my soul in serenity
Working together, a well oiled machine
That has been set free
