Dear Avalon,

I figured by now you should be waking up. I’m sorry if I ever hurt you in any way. I feel bad for pushing you making you lose consciousness for about 3 days. My mom and I moved out, because your mom was willing to give us enough money to rent out an apartment. Thank her for me, will you. I know I shouldn’t earn any sympathy for you, but please forgive me. What I did was wrong, and I know that by now. I’m sorry!

“He still has the decency to write you a letter?” Cody’s grasp on my hand was tensing a little bit. I read over and over Noah’s messy writing, trying to figure out if I would or should forgive him or not. He didn’t mean to make me lose conscious. It was my fault for getting in the way, so in a way it was my fault too.

“Let it go, Cody.” I got up from my comfy bed that I so missed the past week. As Noah said, I was unconscious for about three days, but the doctors made me stay a week more to see if I didn’t damage anything.

I set the folded letter on top of my counter, walking back to be enveloped by Cody’s arms. I heaved a sigh just thinking about what has been happening lately. Bella and Noah left, leaving Cody and I to live without problems. Sure Noah apologized, but I was kind of sad that he left. In some way, I found him entertaining when I would get him pissed off.

“Ava,” Cody’s index finger met my chin just to be pulled upward. I came to meet the most piercing blue eyes that caught my attention. He flashed me a genuine smile like always.

I nodded.

“I love you.” A grin appeared when he said those three words.

My breath was caught, and only to be caught some more.”I love you too.” A grin appeared on my milky white skin.

I was lucky enough to have him by my side. I slowly started to drift in sleep taking with me a piece of my forever.
