(always YJ's POV)

On the day of my graduation, Im Jaebum asked me to marry him. Well, not really. He just told me to marry him -- he didn't really ask. However, I don't need him asking me. What he did was already enough. I asked him that day to wait for me. That maybe it was too sudden to get married. After all, at that time we just finished university. It's not that I don't want to marry him -- heck, I would love to. I just needed him to wait. And that's exactly what he did.

For the past three years, I've spent every day with Jaebum. He's the same person I met in my last year of university, my best friend, and the one I fell in love with. Yea, I know that sounds cheesy. But, I like cheesy.

Back then, whenever I was faced with a trial, JB always had my back. He cheered me up when I was down, he made me laugh till my stomach ached, and fell for even my flaws -- which there are quite a few of. Three years prior, he's still here. He still brings me up and does anything to make me smile. He drives me home late at night and even sleeps over every now and then. We've decided not to live under the same roof just yet, mainly because eomma really wants me to stay with her until it was necessary for me to leave. I don't mind -- I love eomma.

That day, I whined at Jaebum for us to visit that same place we always do. The place where most of the incidents between us usually happen. Yep, the good old cafe by the lake. The sun was setting very slowly. It was September. I still remember how refreshing the air was as it passed by two lovers who walked hand in hand. We stopped by a black railing that prevented people from falling into the water. As we stared into the setting sun, an old memory popped into my mind. I took a deep breath and reached inside my inner pocket for a small box.

"Jaebum?", I turn my head to the boy who grinned softly at the view. He hummed in response. I slowly open the box revealing a plain, silver piece of jewelry and hold it up in between us.

"Would you marry me?", I say softly. He snaps out of his daze and slowly shifts his head towards me. His eyes then glancing at the ring. His brows furrowed and his lips parted slightly. My heart dropped at the silence.

His blank expression slowly formed into something jolly and sincere.

"Are you sure?", he whispered.

I chuckled and nodded almost immediately. He shifted his body so he was completely facing me.

"Yes.", he said while nodding. I smile as I pull the ring out of the box and place it around his left ring finger. He chuckles as he watches me before pulling me into a tight hug.

"I was supposed to propose.", he says.
I chuckled and held him tighter.

"You sure you're ready?", he asks into our embrace.

"I have been for a while."

Jaebum and I were engaged for a year and a half. It took a while to plan everything out especially with the busy work schedules. However the time we had to spend on the wedding, was spent wisely. Of course, with the help of everyone around us. It took a while for it to be arranged, but we finally did it. And on our fifth year anniversary, Jaebum and I were married.

I remember how we wore matching sky blue ties and the boys wore dark purple ones. Even though we both pretty much proposed to each other, I walked down the aisle. Eomma wrapped her arm around mine as I returned a wide smile at Jaebum, with Jackson at his side. I can still feel how tightly my mother clasped her hand on my arm as he sniffled, not believing how grown up her son was. She was ecstatic when Jaebum and I announced to her that we were getting married. In fact, she even started planning ahead for us.

The rest of the boys were hosts for the reception, and let's just say it was probably the best night of my life. The upbeat music, bodies dancing, laughter and cheers, but the best part of it all was the feeling I got every now and then. That feeling when I suddenly remember that Im Jaebum is my husband. I remember turning to face him a lot that night. And each time I did, he would smile or laugh at something. It was definitely a sight to remember.

JB and I had the place to ourselves that night. Eomma decided to stay over at Mrs. Kim's to give us more privacy, with of course BamBam sleeping over there as well because of Yugyeom. Jaebum and I stayed up the whole night. We got home passed one in the morning and buried ourselves under the sheets of my comforter. Our fingers were laced together as our eyes got lost in each others'. To be blunt, no the night wasn't passionate in that way. It was passionate in a romantic, almost lazy way. He told stories to put me to sleep and even sang.

I woke up smiling the next morning, mainly because it was our first morning as newlyweds but because Jaebum whispered "good morning, hubby", into my ear. It was that same feeling again.
