Finally back from hell. You have no idea how bad it was. My hands are swollen from kayaking almost every minute every day, I almost died from climbing up and down a mountain, and my arm is red and have spots all over because I haven't showered in days! Please just kill me...

Third Person's POV
"I knew Soo-Won-sama was here tonight, so I was trying to stay out of your way. The guards who were supposed to be on watch are all gathered here. There are people I don't recognize, too. What's going on here? Huh, Soo-Won-sama?" Hak asks, eyes glinting with anger as he looks at Soo-Won.
Yona looks at his back, whimpering, "H-Hak?"
He turns around, surprised at the fear and shock coming out from Yona. Kneeling down before her on one knee, he apologizes, "I'm sory for leaving your side, Yona-hime-sama."
She leans forward, clutching tighter onto Ruri's warm hand. "Hak, Ruri, are you on my side?"
He gasps slightly before giving her a comforting smile. "The Emperor told me to protect you. No matter what happens, I will obey his orders!" He exclaims, facing Soo-Won again.
Ruri just nods silently, giving Yona the comfort she needs.
The black-haired man walks up, ordering, "Withdraw, servant. You are standing before Emperor Soo-Won, the new master of Hiryuu Castle."
"Who's the master of what, now? I have a bad feeling about this, but I must ask. Soo-Won-sama, where is Emperor Il?" He asks, his smile becoming dangerous.
Soo-Won remains silent for a while before replying calmly, "I just sent him to hell."
His glaive hits the ground, and everyone except for Soo-Won takes a step back when they feel the ground shake. "Are you drunk? That's going too far, even for a joke." Hak said, looking up.
He answers, "Ask Yona-hime. She confirms the Emperor's death with her own eyes. you can also ask Ruri for confirmation."
Hak tched and yells angrily, rushing over to Soo-Won. He flings his glaive over to his head, and Soo-Won immediately use his sword to block the attack.
"Tell the truth!" Hak exclaims, not throwing all of his energy into his attack as he doesn't want to believe Soo-Won.
"I'm not lying."
"Soo-Won! You're telling me you killed your Emperor? You killed our kind Emperor!?" He screams, striking again and again, but Soo-Won blocks all of them without breaking a sweat until his attacks seem to become stronger, causing him to jump back.
"Soo-Won-sama..."
"Stay back. If you get any closer, you'll lose your head. The man standing before you is Son Hak." Soo-Won warns.
"This man is..."
"Yes. He is the heart of Castle Hiryuu, and one of the five generals..."
"The Thunder Beast of Kouka." The black-haired man finishes, a sly smile on his face.
"Soo-Won, why? Are you trying to usurp the throne?" Hak asks, not breaking eye contact with the man who was once his best friend.
Ruri stands up, still holding onto Yona's hand, slightly enjoying the drama unfolding before her as Yona isn't hurt yet.
"No, you're not the type to fixate yourself on that kind of thing. Did you turn your sword on our Emperor, who detested weapons? Your pride allowed that!?"
He looks away, mumbling, "Kindness? This kingdom has no need for a weak Emperor!"
He runs forward, and the two former friends start exchanging attacks, not being sliced once until Soo-Won jumps back, stopping the fight slightly.
"Son Hak...the grandson of Son Mundok, former head of the Wind Tribe, he rose the lead the tribe at a young age. A single blow from his blade is like lightning, earning him the nickname of the 'Thunder Beast of Kouka.'" The black-haired man explains, scoffing.
As the fight continues on, Soo-Won earns an attack from Hak on the shoulder, causing him to grunt in pain.
Yona looks down, tears streaming down her cheeks, and Ruri immediately holds her tight. The feelings for Soo-Won still remain, no matter how much she wants them to go away now, so seeing him getting hurt still pains her.
None of them notices the soldier behind them.
Right before Hak can kill Soo-Won, the black-haired man yells, "That's enough!"
They stop and Soo-Won looks at him before looking at Yona, who is caught with a sword at her throat, and Ruri is on the ground with a soldier pushing her down, her mask thrown on the side.
Every soldier immeidately points their spears at Hak's throat, and one of them orders, "Lay down your weapon, Thunder Beast."
Ruri clutches her fists, slightly looking up and tries to reach for her mask, but the soldier flings it away.
Wanting so much to save Yona immediately, but at the same time, not wanting to show her face, she trembles in fury, wondering why she didn't notice the soldier behind her.
"Soo-Won...was the Soo-Won I saw an illusion? I thought I could entrust you with the princess." Hak said, and the man cuts him off, "Fool. You may be one of the five generals, but you are still young."
"What?"
"At this rate, the Kingdom of Kouka will fall into ruin before long. For you and Yona-hime, who have indulged in peace at Castle Hiryuu, there is no way to imagine Soo-Won-sama's feelings–"
"Quiet, Kye-Sook." Soo-Won orders, finally talking.
"What does that mean?" Hak asks, not moving.
"The Soo-Won you know never existed." Soo-Won explains, tightening his hold on his sword and walks towards Hak.
"Should anyone get in my way, I will cut him down, no matter who he is." He stops, pointing his sword at Hak.
I don't want to hear this. I don't want to hear any of this anymore...
Yona said inside of her, looking down and trying to not see the cruel truth in front of her.
Hak looks at Soo-Won calmly, and right when Soo-Won's sword can hit Hak, the sound of metal clanging together is heard.
"You know, it is weird how humans work–they can be kind and gentle to you, and then betray you the next second." The person blocking the attack from Soo-Won wonders out loud, ice dripping from her voice.
Everyone's eyes are widened in shock as the person's white hair flows in the air, and Soo-Won looks at dead soldier on the ground before turning his gaze towards the girl.
And all he could see in that moment is a smile he has never seen on her face, a smile that seems to freeze his heart and veins.
"Am I right, Rabbit-san?" Ruri asks, tilting her head to the side with a dangerous curiosity radiating from her.
Gomen for this short part and cliffhanger, but I just really really really want to write a cliffhanger!
