I've never seen him in real life
But I already want to be his wife
She's never had a coffee with me
But it excites me to think of the person she'll be
They're hating each other's guts and more
While I'm watching the ordeal with a bag of popcorn
Others will laugh over the fake
And say it's not real
But it will always matter to the authors who feel
They spend months in their heads
Years with their hearts
Trying to think
Of clever jokes, what a farce!
They take their pride
To show off to the world
And the joy gets beaten down
Their confidence may unfurl
But there are more like them
With open hearts and clever minds
With pride that flies high
And a joy that doesn't die
Who take the beat pride
And bandage it up
Once they are ready
They cross over the rut
Their heart will decide
That it's finally time to fly
And in the cold cyberspace
This story puts a smile on my face
As I delve deep
Into this fantastic world
That may seem a silly tale
Of a boy and a girl
But never has fangirling felt more real
Than doing it over books with authors who feel
