Chapter 11

CJ's P.O.V

"Tree, that dream I had, is it actually going to happen?" Amethyst asks.

"Unfortanatly, yes. Ty is going to die." Tree replies.

"What do you mean he's going to die!?" I exclaim.

"His and Crystal's demon sides are slowly taking over and won't stop until one of them are dead. And since they are extremely close, with them both as demons, it'll be the total opposite times 1,000. Meaning they'll fight each other until one's dead." Tree explains.

"So you're saying that Crystal is going to end up killing her own brother?" Max asks.

"Yep. Hard to believe. I know." Tree says.

"Knowing how close they are, that's like pulling a magnet that can't ever be disconnected because of how strong the magnetic force is." Leigha says. (That makes sense, right?)

"Hey! Why are you out here this late?!" Someone asks. We turn around and see Mom and Dad walking towards us. Oh no.

"Max! This is the 3rd time you've gotten us in trouble!"

"We came here to visit Tree." Amethyst explains.

"So you talk to it?" Dad asks.

"Well, he talks to us." Leigha explains. Tree says nothing. Oh great, now it just looks like we're insane.

"Ok, so you asked this tree if I was going to kill Ty?" Mom asks, confused. We nod.

"He said that it's going to happen." Max says. Mom just rolls her eyes. 

"Come on, on the way, you can explain what the tree said." Dad sighs.

====== Time Skip ======

"-And then he said that you and Ty will slowly turn into your demon selfs and you'll end up killing him because your demon selfs don't get along very well." Amethyst explains. Mom froze at the first part.

"I know that Enderlox is slowly taking control of Ty, but I haven't really had any symptoms he's had." She explains.

"Didn't you say something about your headset flickering a glowing red?" Dad asks. Uh oh.

"So Tree was telling the truth!" Leigha exclaims.

"But there's no way in hell I would ever hurt Ty." Mom grunts. We enter the house and she sighs.

"You only have a couple of minutes before you guys have to get up for school, so go ahea and get ready. Ian'll be down soon. I'm going to bed." Mom says and heads into her room.

"I am too. All of you be good." Dad says sternly and heads upstairs.
