Cecil peeled into the parking lot next to the Arby's, and got out quickly, surveying the area around him. The air felt ominous, and all was silent. But wait...no it wasn't. In the distance Cecil could clearly hear the sounds of grunting and the shuffling of robes. Adrenaline pumping through his veins, Cecil sprinted with all his might toward the source of the sound, with one thing on his mind: Carlos.
Cecil ran all the way around the Arby's where he stopped directly behind it, surveying the scene in front of him. Carlos was crouched in the center of the group of figures, clutching the sides of his head, features twisted into an expression of agony. The image of poor Carlos in such pain was enough to make Cecil want to cry, but he stopped these thoughts before they could get the best of him. They were hurting Carlos. His Carlos. His beautiful, perfect Carlos. No. They would not get away with this.
Cecil's vision turned red and with a cry of rage, he sprinted forward and leapt upon the nearest figure, causing them both to tumble to the ground. Cecil's tentacles sprang forth from him, and as if having minds of their own, attacked the figures. Cecil practically tore apart the hooded figures limb from limb, his rage filled body not satisfied until every single one of the figures was completely dead, with no chance of ever coming back.
Having finished tearing apart the disgusting beings that dared harm his Carlos, he looked at the scientist, who was currently sitting up and cradling his head, staring right back at Cecil in astonishment.
Cecil smiled softly at Carlos, relieved to see that he was okay. He was about to say something, but his vision suddenly swayed. His knees buckled and he fell to the ground, hearing his name being called out right before the world went black.
Cecil awoke in an unfamiliar bedroom. He sat up, extremely confused, as the events of last night rushed back into his head. Was Carlos really okay? Had they been kidnapped? Cecil quickly climbed out of the bed and headed toward the bedroom door. As he was about to turn the handle, another person on the other side went to do the same. Cecil gasped and backed away from the door.
