It's been pretty sad recently...Lets start from the beginning. You were a close friend of the digidestined, though you didn't know of the digimons existence.

You were particularly close to Matt, you don't know how, but you guys clicked. Matt was calm and collected, most of the time, and you were shy and stuttered.

Back to being sad, your life has been a confusing mess as of recently. You dad lived with his boyfriend in another town, and your mom lives here with her husband.

Your dad wants you to move in with him. Though you couldn't agree or disagree, as you were raised here, your friends were here, and you have so many memories.

The reasons behind his suggestion is that it seems like your mom is drinking, but she claims its just her sleeping pills for her insomnia and nightmares.

So you were quite conflicted, especially with your...

Today was a strangely complicated day. Why? Life. Anyways.

'Today is the day...For sure!' (Y/N) thinks to herself, nerves settling themselves into her gut.

'It's for the best! I'm going to move, so its best for me to get rid of all this weight on my chest before leaving.' She nods in determination, and heads off to Matt's house.

Arriving at the door, she knocks. This is when the nerves really hit in.

(Y/N) starts panicking, suddenly thinking of all the ways this could go wrong.

'What if he rejects me? What if this ruins our relationship!? I'm not ready, MAYDAY MAYDA-'

Her panicky thoughts were interrupted by a door opening. 

'Please don't be Matt...'

She turns her head and looks at the door. The person awaiting her was...

We all full well know it was f*cking Matt.

"(Y/N)? What are you doing here, I wasn't expecting you." Matt opened the door, his perfect hair all messy from lazing around all day.

"There was something I wanted to tell you..." (Y/N) presses her fingers together, blush rising to her face.

Matt leans forward, eager for her to go on.

"Well it was decided I was moving and I wanted to tell you something before leaving..." (Y/N) steps forward, squeezing her eyes shut.

"I like you!"

Matt stares in shock, as she spills her heart out to him.

The silence was killing her. Like dude, I just confessed to you, say something! She opens her eyes expectingly. 

Matt looks down in shame, "I-I'm sorry, I like Sora..." 

The disappointment crashes through her like an ocean against a cliff. She sighs, looking him in the eyes.

"I understand. I jsut wanted to get it off my chest before leaving tomorrow..."

"Tommorow!?" Matt shouts in shock, the news hitting him hard.

"Yes. Goodbye Matt and," with a kiss to his forehead, she walks away.

"Thank you."
