Hermione's entire body froze up. She could barely believe this was happening. It was happening again. Oh god, help me. The arms around her were steady and held her close and firm. But her mind felt as if it was floating away. She was preparing herself for the inevitable pain and suffering. It was a flight or fight response. But Hermione had no fight left in her. She was done. It was time to face the inevitable; it was over for her, thanks to Jesse Cheriah. She sagged in his arms.
"Ah, yes, there's a good girl." He whispered in her ear.
His breath smelt like vinegar. Hermione wanted to vomit. Let it be quick. Oh god, please help me.
"I've really missed you, you know? Every day I think of you." He turned her around slowly so that she was facing him, but she was still in his grasp.
It was the first time she had ever looked into his face properly. She could see the somewhat beauty in it, with his attractive skin and handsome face, but now with closer inspection, she could see the malevolence that had always lied within, glinting in his eyes.
"I suppose you don't really want to talk. That's okay. You did a lot of talking last time. More than I would have preferred, but never mind that. How about I do the talking now? Okay?" His tone was amicable. Like they were chatting about the weather. As if they were equals.
He released her from his grasp, shoving her down on a table. She sat there, bracing herself for his impact, as he circled her like a shark and continued to feed her his lies.
"I just don't get why you like that guy! I mean, what does he have that I don't have? We are great together. I love you just as much as he does, heck, probably more!"
He balled his fists up as he spoke, in somewhat agitation. He seemed quite frantic and almost jumpy. This was his true self. Obsessive and evil.
"It's a shame you've been with that Draco we were apart. I would have preferred you kept yourself pure for me, but never the less-"
"I was never yours and I'll never be!" She yelled and strained forward, only to be pushed back.
"Hey, hey." He held her close, his strong arms almost crushing her and touched her forehead to his, regardless of her struggling. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."
"As I was saying, your time with your so called 'boyfriend' is insignificant, because tonight you'll be mine again."
He let her go but still held her wrist against the flat of the table, twisted painfully. "We're going to have a great time."
"Never!"
Hermione launched her leg out and kicked him in the stomach, but she only came into contact with his hand. He grabbed it, and in one sharp movement, snapped her leg. Hermione screamed out in pain, grasping forward, seeing only a bright light in what she knew was an almost completely dark room.
"I warned you." His voice was again, eerily cool. "I might've just let you go if you controlled yourself."
He moved closer and whispered in her ear.
"I'm going to kill you. But... I want for me to be the last thing you feel before you die."
He began rapidly undressing her. This was it. Hermione struggled to steady herself, as searing pain blinded her version. She could not see, but she could feel his arms slithering all over her body, ripping open buttons and yanking and tearing. This was worse than the last. She was completely defenceless and barely even able to hold a thought. This was torture, pure evil.
