Alone with Humans (Exo FF)

Some secrets

"I'm home", I shouted.
My sister ran to me and hugged me:"Onee-chan! I missed you."
"I missed you, too", I said and smiled. "Where's Eomma, Saphi?", I asked.
"In the kitchen and Papa is still working", Saphira replied.
"Ok, let's go to the kitchen to Eomma, okey?" Saphira nodded.
"Eomma, I'm back", I said when I saw her standing in the kitchen.
"Ah, you're good I see. You made a new friend, right?", she said.
"Yeah", I replied. It didn't surprise me that she knew how I felt because her ability was to read people's feelings. She has a red strand.
"You're hungry, right? I will give you your bowl."
I nodded and sat to a chair. I told her about the things that happened at school but I didn't told her about the collapse and about Jongdae's eyes.

Meanwhile...

Junmyeon:"You should have been more careful, Jongdae. What is if she found out?"
Jongdae:"She didn't notice it and sooner or later she will find out."
Kyungsoo:"But it doesn't look like she knows who we are."
Baekhyun:"And she didn't use her ability yet. I saw it through her eyes."
Minseok:"But you really was too close  to her..."
Chanyeol:"You're jealous, hyung?" Chanyeol laughed.
Minseok blushed.
Minseok:"Of course not. I am just worrying that she will find out."
Jongin:"But she's really beautiful. I think a lot more boys will trouble her."
Yixing:"We should keep an eye on her."
Sehun:"You guys think that she's good with the other girl? I think they became kind of friends. What was her name again?"
Junmyeon:"Tzuyu, I think"
Jongdae:"She's very curious and she's kind of skeptical towards us. We should keep an eye on her, too. Melody won't tell her that she's...?"
Chanyeol:"She won't. She has bad experience with telling somebody the truth. I looked a little bit into her past. She told her friend that she's a vampire and she called the police and a lot of other people. That's the reason for her family moving here."
Yixing:"I think she can't trust anybody now. We should show her that she can believe in us."
Junmyeon:"Yeah, but how do we gonna do it? Let's talk about this tomorrow and head home now."

The next day I woke up late. The sun has already risen and I looked at the clock beside my bed. It was already 5:30 am! I got up and headed to the kitchen. Papa was sitting at the table and said:"Good morning, my little bat. You slept quite long."
"Good morning, Papa", I replied.
"I was very tired because of school." "Ah yeah, Eomma told me. You got troubled again?"
"Yeah just a few guys who are a class above me."
"Ah, I see." He wasn't surprised, as usual. He knows that I can take care of myself and that it happens lots of times.
"Papa, when do you think I can use my ability?", I asked him.
He just looked at me. "You will be able to use it but it takes time. It is different from vampire to vampire. But I have the feeling that you will be able to use it soon. Now go make yourself ready for school."
I nodded and went to the bathroom and got ready.
I left the house while saying:"I'll be home soon, bye" and I heard a "take care of yourself" from the kitchen.
I walked and I always saw some people with the same uniform as mine. Suddenly someone jumped at me from behind:"Mely, how are u?"  "Ah, Tzuyu. I'm good and you?", I answered the person from behind. "Really great!", she replied.
"We are going to choose the club you'll join today." She smiled at me brightly and I had to smile, too. We reached our school.
"Let's meet at Lunch break, ok?", she asked. "Yeah, sure", I answered and I headed to my class. I put my bag on my desk and took my english things out. Then I saw a lot of pairs of shoes in front of my desk and I looked up into 9 faces that were all smiling to me. I looked at them 2 seconds long and looked down again to my bag and put my pens out. I grinned on the inside but on the outside I just sat down and looked into my english book. The princes were still standing there. At some point they couldn't hold back any longer and Baekhyun cheerfully said:"Good morning, Melody."
I also mumbled a good morning...
