A few years ago, on a cold nightin December, a girl named Alice and her friend Liz, went to the movies. After the movie the two girls headed home. On their trip back, a drunk driver swerved into the girls, who were along the side walk. Liz had only a broken arm and leg, while Alice had to go into surgery once they got to the hospital.
Sadly, Alice had amnesia after her surgery. She could only remember her name, her pet's name, Liz's name, and how she got in the hospital. Alice could not remember who her parents were or what they looked like or anything related to them for that matter. Liz knew everything that Alice had forgotten, but was told not to say anything by Alice's parents and the doctors, which she didn't understand.
Alice now believes that her parents died of an illness, and that she lives with Liz and her parents.
Liz felt terrible about lying to her best friend, so she told Alice that her parents were alive , an that there were many things that Alice didn't know. Liz also said that if Alice went to a place called the Black Order, she would find the missing information.
What Liz didn't say was that they both had a special power called, innocence, that they could use to fight Akuma, weapons that are made from human souls To Liz, she thought that Alice already knew, so there was no point in telling her.
So now the girls are going to the Black Order to be, what are called'exorcists', humans with speacil powers that are chosen by god, to both fight Akuma and get innocence from them.
