[A/N: Hey guys sorry for the late update, i have been busy with upacking, since i have moved and i have had a chance to update in a while. Well, for now enjoy the 5 chapter of D. Gatherers. :) ]
Following Apirl and Kui is like trying to keep up with a roadrunner that has drank a monster energy drink, meaning, they are pretty fast.
We are currently on a 'fast-paced tour' of the Black Order'. So far, the only thing me and Liz have seen is the cafeteria. Kui and Apirl were so fast that we barley got to say anything. I quess it's alright, it's not like there's anything to say about it though.
"Whoa! What's this place?" Liz asks. I stop dead in my tracks. Kui and Apirl have stopped along with Liz. Suddenly, we start rising off the ground.
Regaining my thoughts, I look down and discover that we are on an elevator type platform.
"W-what's going o-on?!" I ask.
" Oh, not much, your synchronition raito is about to be measured." Apirl answers.
" Our synchro-what now?" Liz says.
" Just shut up and wait." Kui says sternly.
" Wait...there's no one here, who's gonna to measure-" I ask.
" Hevlaska," Kui says, intrupting me. We stop moving , and a mist of white wraps around me. I am lifted up and faced with a a tall woman [ i assum] with ghost white skin. I begin to shake in fear.
" Do not be afraid..." Hevlaska says. My arm activates again. without me willing. A sudden wave of pain shoots through me. I open my mouth to scream, but nothing comes out. I suddenly hear her counting slowly.
" 85% synchronition raito" Hevlaska says. She sets me down back on the platform. "I apologize for frigtening you."
Before I can answer, The hands wrap around Liz, lifting her up to Helaska's face. The same thing happens to her, only she gets and 80%. Liz is set down back on the platform.
"How come you always beat me,Alice!?" Liz asks, angrily tapping her foot.
I simply shrug my shoulders as April giggles. She always gets like this when I get a higher score or higher placing than her.
