When I woke up, I felt my back aching. Then I remembered that I slept on the floor last night.

I stood up and saw an empty bed. Looks like Audrey got up already. But is her foot okay? She could hardly stand up last night.

I went downstairs and saw her on the dining area, eating breakfast.

"Hey", my voice was somehow raspy.

She smiled when she saw me. "Goodmorning! Breakfast?"

I smiled back at her, "Sure."

Today is Monday. Only six days to go before we finally separate.

---

After eating breakfast, we watched a movie and went to an art exhibit. It was boring as usual. But what can I do? I need to act like I'm a polite, sweet and supportive boyfriend.

I'll never understand how Audrey finds weird paintings "astonishing and magnificent". She was talking to her friend who apparently like art as well.

"Luke? Is that you?" A small voice behind my back caught my attention.

I turned around and saw Gianna, my ex-girlfriend. She looks stunningly beautiful.

"Hey, how are you? It's been years, huh?" I hugged her and she hugged me back.

"I'm good, and by good I mean really happy", she then waved her ring finger in front of my face.

"You're engaged? That's great!" I hugged her again and she chuckled.

"How about you?"

I scratched my head, "Audrey. It's still her." But when the next Monday comes, it's all over.

"Wow! Never knew Audrey would be the one to tame you! I'm glad that you two are still going strong. I really think she's gonna be a lucky soon-to-be bride."

I thought so too, but my feelings just didn't last long enough.

I laughed awkwardly. "Y-yeah."

After some few chitchats, her fiancé arrived and we had to say goodbye.

Just when I was about to look for Audrey, she came back. She looks so fine with the tight dress she's wearing.

I noticed that some guys were staring at her with their dirty mouths drooling all over the place.

No, she's my girl. Watch and learn you bastards.

I came close to her and grabbed Audrey by her waist. She was shocked at first but eventually grew comfortable.

The other men looked so disappointed. Too bad for all of you, fvcking perverts.

"Audrey, next time can you please wear something more, umm—"

"Something what?"

She raised her eyebrows and grinned cheekily.

"Something that won't attract other men so much."

I tried to make it sound normal as possible. I don't want to make it sound like I'm a possessive boyfriend
or something.

"Okay." She said after chuckling a little.

"I-I just don't want you to get ogled by other men, a-alright?"

Why am I fucking stuttering?

She just shrugged and walked faster.

I shook my head. What's wrong with me? Must be the guilt I guess.
