Budo heard his alarm ring, and he reluctantly threw the covers off him. It was a beautiful Friday morning, and the sun was shining brightly. It was hard for his eyes to adjust to the sunlight after seeing darkness all night. After they did, he checked the time. He wasn't late, he was early actually. He then went to have a shower. After getting fresh, he changed into his school uniform and went downstairs. "Budo, take your lunch before you leave!" Budo heard his mom shout just as he stepped out the front door. "Okay mom," he shouted back and went into the kitchen. "Have a nice day at school, sweetie," his mom said. Budo smiled at her and said goodbye,  grabbed his bento and then went to school. 'Its Friday, I bet its gonna be a great day!' he smiled to himself with his usual optimism.

When he got to the gates of the school, he saw his friend Sho talking to Mina. Budo smirked and creeped up behind them and watched as his friend blush a deep crimson shade. Mina then said goodbye to him, and left to talk to her best friend Shima and a few other girls. "Hey Sho," Budo said, causing the male to jump up in fright. "Budo! God, you gave me a heart attack!" Sho managed to say after the fright. "Really? Heh, I'll call the ambulance right away then!" Budo said, taking his phone out of his pocket. "Wait what?! I was just messing! Put that phone away right now!" Sho tried to grab the phone out of his hands. Budo laughed at his miserable attempt, and then put his phone away. "Wow, aren't you smart enough to know I was joking?!" Sho asked. Budo laughed lightly and then replied," well, you shouldnt make jokes like that, maybe next time I will call the ambulance." " Someone's in a good mood today, what's going on?" Sho asked. Budo laughed and shook his head. "Nothing you need to know," he replied. Sho huffed and the pair walked into the school in silence. Until Budo said," so, how's the relationship between you and Mina?" Sho's eyes widened, and he blushed rose red. "W-we're not in a r-relationship," Sho stuttered. "Well, you want to, right?" Budo smirked. Sho blushed even darker and he turned his head to hide the blush. "M-maybe," Sho muttered, barely loud enough for Budo to hear. "What about you and Ayano? How's your relationship?!" Sho changed he subject because he was starting to get really uncomfortable. "S-Sho, we're not in a relationship either," Budo admitted. Sho smirked as the blush went off his cheeks and came onto Budo's. Sadly for Sho, the bell rang, and he couldn't tease Budo anymore. They then went to class.

(I'm gonna skip the first class and lunch break cause its boring)

Sensei was teaching about Ancient Rome this period, how Romulus and Remus built it, and then fought over it. It was tedious at first, but then someone asked a question. Sakyu raised her hand, and sensei asked her what her question was. "Wasn't  Saint. Valentine from Ancient Rome?" she asked. It wasn't that relevant to the subject, but it was more interesting than talking about two fighting brothers. "That's a very interesting question Sakyu, he was from Rome," sensei started a new topic. The class and the teacher discussed about the famous saint, and then the bell rang. For once, class wasn't that boring, and everyone had a fun time. And talking about the saint of love set Budo in the mood for confessing to Ayano. But he also felt a bit scared, what if Ayano doesn't like him? But he kept those thoughts at bay for the time being.

He went down to the lockers, and searched for Ayano's locker. When he found it, he took a deep breath and wrote his message on a small piece of pink paper. He then gently slipped it into the locker. He then rushed to the martial arts club. Hopefully Ayano would read his message and come to the tree. When he came to the martial arts club, he told Shima and Juku to spar and then he watched them. Ayano wasn't in the club room, he guessed that she was just heading upstairs. She was the one who was always the last to come everyday. She then entered the club room, just as they were about to start the club activity. She was unusually late today, and Budo guessed that she read his letter. She had a slight change in her expression, but she still seemed emotionless like usual.
