SCENE 3: Warm Welcome

*the kids exit the classroom and kathlyn rise from the floor, she followed the crowd as it lead her to the cafeteria. She stood and watched everyone as they went into their cliques. Each table to a title. Jocs,  Cheerleasers, Emos, Nerds etc.  Where did she fit in,  every table teller rejection, you smart for the cheerleaders, too dumb for the nerds, too more care for the emos, too weak for the jocs. she took a deep breath in then turned towards the exit. then a voice said...

Starlet: hey kat *kat turned and looked then turned and looked infront of her* (was Starlet actually being nice? to her?) come sit with us *Starlet smiled*
kathlyn:  *walked towards the table* hi ...I'm....
Starlet: her name is kathlyn, she's from Carolina and she just might be the next member of our spirit squad...if she has what it takes of coarse
kathlyn:  I use to cheer at my old school *smiles*
crystal: uhm star can we talk for a sec....*looks at kathlyn* just us *smiles*
Starlet:  sure, could you give us a minute kat?  can I call you kat?
kathlyn:  OK *smiles and gets up from the table*
crystal:  what are you doing we,can't have a Newby on our squad
linzey:  why not??  I mean she has nice hair and a great body, good looking and she use to be a cheerleader
Starlet:  EXACTLY and it's my squad crystal and u say she's on,  I see something in her and besides anything I don't like I can change.....

remember this is MY SCHOOL, MY RULES.... I RULE *smiles* and on that note.....KAT YOU CAN COME BACK NOW
Kathlyn: *walks to the table* is everything OK? *smiles*
Starlet:  yes everything's fine.. what are you doing Friday??
Kathlyn:  uhm idk maybe studying
Starlet:  no... LAME AF
kathlyn:  uhm not studying??
Starlet:  there you go...here's my address *writes number down on Kathlyn's hand* have your parents bring you over at 6 NO LATER.. were having a sleep over *smiles* sort of anyways lol
Katelyn:  OK (at the moment she felt so accomplished , not knowing what she got herself into)
