inside

I do not persuade,

I can never masquerade,

For lies are thy weakness,

And words are thy aide.

How can thou honour thou self,

With dignity and prime,

When subtle hints of jealousy,

Break apart our design.

Thou bring me down with snake-like words,

But I am strong and proud.

I shall not wither - shall not die,

Not when apologies are so loud.

I feast on thy sadness,

And thy death is my light,

And how shall you not pursuade me,

To join in thy fight.

Now thou freeze in the snow,

Thou are weak in the white,

But I am warm and cozy,

For I am on the inside.

Meaning: One should never lie or be rude to another being. It only brings despair.

Hope you have a nice day!
