Chapter One

     Lexi please  Don't do this again please I'm right here I'm not going anywhere I love you. I said as she ran out of my room, I can't believe she's doing this to me again .When will it ever stop, When will she let me love her?  I start to run after her but Danny stops me .What the hell  Danny  move !!! He looks at me with a sad look. You need to let her go Sadie stop going after her stop letting her hurt you .This is what the sixth time she's left you ? Now I'm angry I looked at him with fire in my eyes Who the hell  are you to tell me what to do I love Lexi  so what if she doesn't love me I love her and I'm Damn well gonna fight for her so Move Now I yelled as I attempted to push him out of my way .
He put his arms around my waist picked me up and threw me over his shoulder without saying one word but he had his serious look on so there's no point in trying to fight with him now . Danny carried me back to my room and sat me on my bed . Look Sadie I'm your best friend and my job is to take care of you, protect you ,and kick anybody's ass who ever dares to hurt you  and even though you won't let me kick lexi's ass  I can still protect you  from her the best I can and that includes keeping you from going after her .  I looked at him and started  to cry  but I love her Danny I love her with all my heart I can't just let her go I need her I said as I got up, walked to my closet ,pulled out lexi's favorite hoodie and put it on . I know you do Sadie  but i need you  you've  been my best friend since preschool  and every time Lexi hurts you I'm here I see the hell you go through I wipe your tears away, kelly and i have been together for 4 years now and she loves you just as much as I do  we hate watching you go through this time and time again you need to move on find someone new someone who isn't gonna hurt you or at least try to find someone new please Sadie as your best friend I'm beggin you to at least try. I looked at him hot tears rolling down my cheek  Okay I'll try but I want to be alone for now will you come back later  I said weakly as I crawled onto my bed  and curled up into a ball . Yes I will but I'm bringing Kelly with me later we'll bring you Ben and Jerry Ice cream and revenge of the bridesmaids  and we all will stay up all night watching chick flicks and eating ice cream. I heard him  walk down the stairs and out the front door  , I just don't understand why she keeps doing this, she knows I love her  doesn't she ? All i want is her to make her happy, to show her  i love her,  to treat her like the princess she is . Why won't she let me do that for her, why does she keep pushing me away right when things get good ? Why can't she just let me love her ? I could feel myself slowly slipping into a deep sleep as I thought the same thoughts I thought when Lexi left me  the first few times .                  *a few hours later * (Danny's pov)

elly I'm telling you its different this time   you should have  seen the look she had when I left it was so sad   she looked like a girl girl who just watched her dog get hit by a car she looked scared sad and horrified at the thought of getting over Lexi  she's never had that look before not once in the six times Lexi has left her i said as we walked out of Wal-Mart with sadie's  ice cream and the movies we promised well i promised . Its never gonna  be different sadie loves lexi to much to let her go we've seen her go back to Lexi over and over again  it's never gonna be any different with them babe Sadie is always gonna go back to Lexi, Lexi is always gonna leave her , and we are always gonna be there to pick Sadie up  and make her happy just to do it all again,she said as she got into my 1995 Chevy pick-up  and slammed the door shut , that door never fully shuts for some reason. As I start the truck I look over a Kelly she looks pissed and sad at the same time I want to make her smile,hey baby  you know after we cheer Sadie up maybe we could go to my place and have some fun . She looks up at me and giggles with a silly smile on her face God I love that smile . Danny! You know I always stay the night with sadie when Lexi leaves  but that is a really tempting offer, she slaps me on the chest ,now let's go cheer her up maybe it won't be as bad as last time how was she when you left earlier ?  Well let's see there was tears and lexi's  hoodie and weak speaking  so I'd say she was pretty bad  plus she curled into a ball on her bed instead of locking herself in the bathroom.  Damn  it this is gonna take more than ice cream and movies this time we need to make another stop I know we said we'd wait till her birthday next month  but she needs It now  and her mom already said she could have her so can we stop and get her that husky puppy for her ?  Kelly  I don't know we said we'd wait till her birthday  she couldn't need cheering up that bad no way she's that upset . She is Danny she didn't even go in the bathroom that's serious, she needs this  we can find her something else for her birthday  she needs this now . Fine well stop and get the puppy  but you better find a really good present for her birthday  . Yes,  I will i promise i will so we'll  take the next left then two rights and we'll be at the owners house and we need to have proof we already bought the puppy.it's all in the glove box   and we've got the puppy stuff in the  back . 
                       *  20 minutes later *
  We arrive at the onwers house Kelly goes ahead with the proof we already bought the puppy and I got everything ready for the puppy. Danny!!! Kelly screams as she runs full speed towards me with the puppy in her arms . Danny , Danny look she's sooo cute  oh  Sadie is gonna love her . I laugh as she looks up at me with her big green eyes  a smile on her face,you think she's gonna like Sadie?  Of course  she'll like Sadie she'll love Sadie just as much as Sadie loves her  she said as she basically jumped into the truck and put the puppy in the back seat . I smile and shake my head as I start the truck , okay now we go to sadie's . Can you   text her and tell her well be there soon?
