A/N: I had initially started this story for my online friend Nar, on my way home from the train in my freshman year, I'm now a junior graduating early....I feel so old omg, I am beyond excited at the response from you guys, I love you all!

Nar's eyeѕ fluttered opened to a ruby-colored room drowned in erie darĸ shadows.
The curtains were drawn shut as a ѕliver of light appeared, vintage wooden furniture littered the room.
A fireplace equipped the darkened room, casting glowing embers of light around the room.
She quickly sat up when it dawned upon her that this was in fact not her room, Nar quickly got up and her head rushed with the sudden movement and throbbed from the chemicals she had inhaled not too long ago.
She was dressed in a red silk nightgown, with straps instead of arms and lace detailing around the neck. The gown hung loosely on her body and swept the floor. Where was she? And who had the audacity to change her?!
She shook her head from confusion and she tiptoed on the wooden hard floor to the door to test the handle, it was indeed locked and so were the windows behind the thick red curtains.
She then dragged her shaking form to the bathroom, the gown gliding behind her amongst the marble floor. Nar had spotted herself in her mirror, and she looked atrocious, her hair was twisted in all directions, with crusted eyes and dried lips. She winced and looked around, past the marble bathtub, which was in an entirely different room. To her right, there was a window. A window! The young woman tested it with low hopes to see if it was locked...
....it WASNT LOCKED!
The height was what concerned her, at least a 3-foot jump, though it looked small if she landed the wrong way she could possibly pay the price for the rest of her life. She did a little prayer, closed her eyes and lept.
She had luckily landed among the plush grasses in a garden, her surroundings consisted of lavish greens in a garden in her peripheral vision and a forest seen in the distance. She turned around and noticed the building that held her prior was a Victorian-esque style mansion. The ruby of the brick, dark shades of the panels illuminated in the daylight.
Daylight? It dawned upon Nar that she had spent her whole night in this foreign place, just the thought brought her shivers.
She forgot about everything and quickly dashed towards the forest, not even midway to the trees, a cramp exploded in her ankle. She yelped and quickly put her hand over her mouth.
The pain was excruciating and she growled a quick "fuck" for her weak being. But that didn't stop the girl, she dashed towards the forest barefoot. A swooshing sound could be heard that wasn't hers. Figures began moving through the lush greenery, she heard rumblings and multiple footsteps.
Was she surrounded by animals? Bears? Wolves? Tears started gathering in her eyes as she thought of the worse and the fact that she could perish by the hands of animals before escaping, she hadn't even graduated High school yet. What would come of her guardian and friends? Her life flashed before her eyes. Her thoughts were interrupted by a stinging pain that wasn't her ankle, this time her arm was throbbing in pain.
Her steps slowed down significantly and she crashed face-first into the grass, and she rolled over to her side. The world around her was blurred in a haze, her head lolled to the side to see a dart was lodged into her shoulder. With her face facing the ground, men hoisted her to her feet and then onto ones back.
