In the distance I saw a silhouette of mansion I jogged up the pathway until I reached the mansion. I looked at the mansion and it looked abandoned and looked like no one has lived in it for a very long time. I began walking to the doorstep and the door had claw marks embedded into the old raw wooden door. I glanced behind me and the beast wasn't in sight. I grabbed the rusty nob and opened the door. The door creaked as it opened. I walked inside and shut the door behind me quietly. I looked around and all the furniture was torn up and the walls were covered in claw marks. I hear glass shatter in the kitchen so I walk quietly over to the kitchen and open it slowly and the door creaks. The shadowy beast is feasting on a corpse. It's ears shoot up and turns slowly toward the door growling. My eyes widen in horror and I slam the door shut and ran towards the entrance. The beast busted through the door. The monster pounced on me.
