(Y/N) was always the shyest girl in her school. She never came into contact with anyone like her. She was a mutant that went to a normal school where mutants aren't allowed. But the thing is, she's half Martian. She can shapeshift, density shift, and even use telepathy and telekinesis.
But she tried hiding it for a long time since she was in Kindergarten. But most people try and get in her head sometimes with rude words and even physical assault, but she tries badly to keep in her abilities and not take it out on others.
But today, she just had to.
"Hey, loser. Loser classrooms are that way. I suggest you move it." She heard as she looked up to see the biggest bully in the school, Bryan Scott. He was always the classroom entertainer and everybody loves Bryan. The oh mighty God of the school. Note the sarcasm.
"Why should I, idiot??" She stated as she tried to move past him, but he grabbed her wrist and pushed her up against the lockers.
"Now, listen crystal clear. The loser classrooms are down that way, now beat down that way or you won't be able to walk for a year." He said with a smirk as she tried holding it in.
"No, I think I'll go this way. And don't touch me again." She said as she went to move but he pulled tightly on her wrist and pushed her back on the lockers. Hard this time. His hand then went up to her neck as he started choking her.
"You asked for it." He said as she then released it. She screamed and all the locker doors went slamming at him. The door came off and hit him while he let go.
She walked towards him and saw he wasn't moving. This is what she feared for all her life to accidentally use her powers and have someone killed. She saw everyone surrounding her, screaming at her and calling her a murderer. She couldn't take it no more and ran out of the school towards her home.
She always sat in the alleyway, thinking about her dad who was in the army. She wished he was back home with her because she can't control her powers without him.
She sat and wrote in her diary. Begging for a miracle or something to happen. But she knew miracles can't happen.
"Ma'am, are you okay??" She heard as she looked up and saw a huge mutant turtle standing above her.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just had a rough day." She said as she brought her knees to her chest.
"Want to talk about it??" He asked as she shrugged though she would at least have someone like her to talk to.
"Well, I was bullied today by this popular guy in the school. And I think I killed him with my powers." She said as he tilted his head to the side.
"What powers??" He asked as she used her telekinesis and let her diary float in the air.
"Oh."
"Who are you??" She asked as she placed her diary in her bag.
"Leonardo, but Leo for short. You??"
"(Y/N). But I'm use to being called loser." She said as she lowered her head. She then felt a hand as she looked up to see Leo's hand on hers.
"I'm not that guy. Im different. I will call you by your name, not rude pet names." He said as she smiled and hugged him. He didn't expected it at first but then relaxed as he hugged back.
"I have to get in my home. I have curfew on the weekdays." She said as he nodded and she climbed up her fire escape.
She then threw her bag on the bed as she plopped down. She then saw a note on her bag as she read it:

She smiled before saying,"I will, my friend." And fell asleep, not knowing that Leo was watching her. But not in a stalky way.
