I never understood when people would say that love blinds you
I always thought
Not me
Never would I let someone cause me pain
But I did
I didn't even realize that you were hurting me
I loved you so damn much
I didn't want to see that you were hurting me
That's when I understood
What people meant when they said love blinds you
They meant that you see it happening
But you just don't want to admit it
You don't want to admit that
The person you love the most
Could be the one that's making you hurt the most
