It's finally Friday. Thank god. It was a long week. I was tired. Tired of waking up so early. Tired of going to school. But I was I only happy that I saw Matt every morning. Our conversations got longer and we exchanged numbers. He didn't text me yet and I'm scared he never will. *ring ring* It was a text from Matt.

Matt- Hey Brook! What are you doing later?

Brook- Nothing. Just gonna sit in my room and listen to music. You?

Matt- I was hoping we could hang out...

Brook- I would love to! When and where?

Matt- In a few minutes at my house? If that's okay...

Brook- That would be perfect! I'll be there soon!

Matt- Okay! I'll be waiting.

OMG!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! MATT WANTS TO HANG OUT!!! Okay, Brook. Calm down. Okay. Breathe. Just breathe. I got ready and went downstairs. I told my mom I was going out and walked out the door to Matt's house. Surprisingly he was waiting for me outside.

"Hey!" Matt said

"Hi." I answered

"What do you want to do?" Matt asked

"I don't care. Whatever." I answered

"Well, there's a party later. Want to go with me?" he asked

"I would love to but I won't know anyone" I answered shyly

"You'll know me." He said with a cute smile

"Sure. Let's go!" I said
