Soon to be nieces...maybe

I look at the two girls shocked. One has blue eyes just like Nan and the other has beautiful brown hair like him. "Why are you surpwise?" Penelope asks. "I know your uncle very well" I say. I turn on the car and head to Nathan's. "how do you know him?" Eleanor asks. "he is my best friend" I answer. "oh." she says. "why you have a ring?" Penelope asks. "because I'm engaged." I tell the little one glancing quickly in the mirror to look at her. "to who?" Eleanor asks. "I can't tell you girls without his permission. Also can you two not tell anyone that I'm engaged" I ask. "yes!" they say with a determined look on their faces. I smile and continue driving. We get to Nathan's apartment and paparazzi are still there. I park my car and shut it off. "can you hand me that hoodie?" i ask Penelope. she gives it to me and I put it on and make sure my face is covered. "why you cover your face?" Penelope asks. "because those people make stories about me and your uncle if they see me here. "please don't cover up" Eleanor begs. they both start begging and do puppy dog faces. "Ok" I say taking off my sunglasses. "Stay here" I tell them. I get out and go to Penelope's side. I open the door and she reaches for me. I set her on my hip and Eleanor hops out of the car. She grabs my hand and we start walking to the doors. "who are these kids Stana? Are they your's? Are they Nathan's? Are they both of your's?" paparazzi asks. "Nathan me Uncle!" Penelope says. "why are you with Stana?" a girl asks. I stop walking and let Penelope talk. "me and me sister were with our friend then they left and we had to take cab to Uncle Nathan house and we ask Stana for cab number and she bring us herself" Penelope says proud. "aww!" All the girls coo. "Stana is so sweet!" some guys exclaim. "now if you'll excuse us" I say and start walking again. We get inside and I say hi to the doorman. He says hello and presses the button for he elevator and then scans his finger then gets off. We arrive at Nathan's floor and get off. I unlock the door and we step in. "hey B- hey girls!" Nathan catches hisself as soon as he sees the girls. I shut the door. "why are they with you?" Nathan asks. "they needed a ride and their friends left them at my building so I brought them." I shrug. I set down Penelope and she runs to Nathan then jumps on him. "I missed you so much!" she says squeezing him. "I missed you too Skittle!" he says tapping her nose. Eleanor stays by my side holding my hand smiling. "Hi Uncle Nathan!" she says. "hey Taffy!" he says bending down with opened arms. she runs to him and hugs him. he spins both the girls in his arms and my heart melts. If he is this good of an Uncle then he'll be one hell of a dad! I smile at them and snap a picture. "you girls aren't suppose to be here for another week" Nathan says stopping spinning. "Grandma said we had to come" Eleanor says. "oh really?" Nathan says. "yeah but we get to be here with you!" Eleanor exclaims. "yeah!" Penelope says. " yay we are going to have so much fun!" he says setting them down. "can Stana stay too?" Penelope asks hugging my leg. "if she w-" before he could finish I cut in "I would love too" I ruffle her hair and she laughs. Eleanor tugs on Nathan's sleeve and he bends down. He looks at me while she is talking. I pick up Penelope and set her on my hip. "um I can't tell you. You'll have to ask her." He says standing up and setting her on his hip. "Stana?" Eleanor asks looking at me. "yes?" I look at her. "um can you pwease tell me who you are marrying" She asks. She is so cute! It is killing my heart! I look at Nathan. He nods his head. "ask your Uncle" I tell her. she looks at Nathan. "Tell me who she marrying?" she demands. "We'll she is going to be your Aunt!" he says. She looks at me. She give me the is-he-telling-the-truth look. I nod my head with a smile. She claps her hands. "yay!!" she exclaims. "you can't tell anyone" Nathan says. "ok I won't" she says. Penelope looks at me with a smile. "you are my aunt?" She asks. "yes sweetie" I answer and she immediately wraps her arms around my neck hugging me. I hug her back.

"So why are they here?" I ask Nathan popping a grape in my mouth as I with the two girls play barbies on the floor. "I've been meaning to talk to you about them. I understand if you say no but they have-" he starts off. "I don't care Nathan I love them already as if they were my own" I tell him putting my hand on his thigh. "how did you know I'm adopting them?" he asks. "the way you started talking" I say. "oh so I guess can't keep us a secret anymore" he mumbles. "actually we can." I say getting an idea. "how?" he asks leaning in with interest. "We just say I'm around because I love the two girls and that I help out with them because you can't help if they have girl issues" I tell him. "that actually sounds like a plan!" he exclaims. "yup" I peck him on the lips and go sit on the couch. Soon he joins me and hands me a bottle of water. "thank you" I tell him taking it form him. "your welcome" he sits next to me and puts an arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to him. I lay my head against him and we watch the girls play.

"Let's watch a movie!" Nathan says. "What movie?" I ask. Penelope hands Nathan Frozen. He puts the movie in while everyone gets comfy. he sits down and Eleanor sits in his lap. I put my head in his lap and Penelope lays in front of me and I wrap my arms around her. Nathan puts a blanket on us and then him and Eleanor. The movie starts and we all start paying attention.

I wake up to a peaceful sleeping Penelope in my arms. A beautiful sleeping Nathan hugging a peaceful sleeping Eleanor. I smile at our cute little family. I feel Nathan stir and I shut my eyes but peek through one. He looks around and smiles then he looks down at me and Penelope and his smile widens. He bends down somehow and pecks my lips not expecting anything back but I kiss him. he sits back up and looks at me surprised and I smile up at him. He smiles down at me and moves hair out of my face. He looks at the time. "Morning beautiful" he says rubbing my cheek with his thumb. "morning" I smile. I get up and cradle Penelope like a baby. Rick does the same to Eleanor. We go and set them next to each other on our bed and then head to the kitchen. We grab a drink and then head back to our room. I lay behind Penelope and he snuggles up behind me wrapping his arms around me as I wrap my arms around the girls as they move closer to me. We all fall asleep together as a happy little family.
