I start walking towards the cafeteria and I run into my good friend Jack Overland. " hey Jack frost!" I say. " hey Ellie!" Hey says back. I continue walking. As I walk into the cafeteria everyone goes quiet and watches me walk by. I'm used to it now. Ever since I became a dauntless leader they all stare. I'm also a dauntless trainer. So the people I trained last year stare at me with looks of pure hatred. I guess they still aren't over the trauma of me making them run at midnight in there pyjamas while me and the other trainers held out guns and said run faster or we'll shoot. I shoot them smirks and point to the gun at my side. They look down at their plates. Good. Now I know that they do respect me. Kind of.

I look around for a spot. Shoot. I should have waken up earlier. Oh! There is one spot by this one guy. I quickly buy some food and walk over. " hi. My name is Elaina. Can I sit here." He looks up his blue eyes sparkling. " hey. I'm four. Yeah you can sit here." He pats the seat next to him and I sit down. He turns so he's facing me and asks " aren't you a dauntless leader and trainer." " yeah I am.Aren't you......" I do not know what to say. " I was in the same initiation group. You know the transfer group." "mmmmm....... that's right! We were also in the same faction. You went by another name then though. You're Tobias right?" " i was Tobias. I do not go by that anymore." " yeah. I know why. " I take a bite out of my yogurt, berry, and granola and take a sip from my cup of tea. I try not to be bothered by the fact that he watches me the whole time. " do you always eat like that?" I look down self consciously." What's wrong with what I eat?" I asked. "Nothing.I think it's a good breakfast. " I look over at his breakfast and giggle. He has the same thing I have. We share a smile. I look up and my smile fades. Standing at another of the empty seats is Eric. My unruly co-leader. "Hello Eric." I say quietly looking over at four. I see that his smile is gone to and he is stiff. " hello four, elaina. " four nods and looks down. He sits down and I grimace. " so, what were you two talking about before I came." "Ummm, nothing really important. " I answer, knowing that four would never answer him. There is silence at the table. Four silently reaches over and squeezes my hand. I smile at him. Eric looks between the two of us. " are you two dating?" He asks looking incredulous. Four answers. " does it look like we are dating?" He asks with a smirk. " yes." He says raising an eyebrow. " we'll good for you. You can actually tell when someone's in a relationship." He turns to me and says " are you ready to go? We have to go to abnegation for the choosing ceremony." " yeah I'm ready to go. Just let me go change and grab all the packages for the initiates." I get up and grab my tray. As I pass by Eric I throw him a smirk and a little wave. I dump my tray and walk out of the cafeteria. I release a sigh of relief.
