Problems at home

Bryson's POV
I don't know what I'm going to do about this project it's not just because I don't like Tiana. We might have to go over each other's houses to work on it and that can't happen. When I was 14 my mom overdosed on pills and after that my dad didn't know how to act. At first he just always went out and and started to bring girls home, I asked him how he could move on from mom so fast and him hit me but he didn't stop there he stumped me and kicked me. The next day  I had big bruises all over my arms and legs I didn't want to go school but I couldn't stay home. After that it started to happen every day and I didn't know what happened to the man I once called dad. For a while I thought it was my fault but then I just told myself that it was going to happen anyway. I was knocked out of my thought by Keyon and Derrin shaking me and yelling my name.
"What were you thinking B" Derrin asked
"Nothing just the project" I sighed.
"Ohhh the project huh do you mean your partner for the project" Keyon said smirking
" I don't think he is " said Derrin "not everyone's as desperate and lonely as you and can only think about girls".
At that point I couldn't hold it in not only was that funny but Keyon's face was hilarious.
But I still couldn't help but think of the project it's with Tiana what am I going to do. Speak of the devil I see her walking towards me. This is not going to end well.
