Nikki:So what do you think John?

He wasn't even paying attention to what I was saying.

Nikki:John!

John:What Nicole!I'm trying to watch TV!

Nikki:Oh so TV is more important than your girlfriend?

John:Maybe.

He mumbled but I heard.

Nikki:Do you even know what I was asking you?

John:No but what is it Nicole?

He asked in an irritated tone.

Nikki:Marriage John!Marriage!

He quickly turned to me,giving me that 'I told you already' look.

John:Nicole what have I told you!We're not ready for that!

Nikki:So when are we going to be ready?!I'm sick and tired of waiting on you John!

John:When the time is right Nicole!Now stop pestering me!

He made a rude hand gesture,like I was some pest he was swatting away.

Is that how you treat your girlfriend?

I grabbed my jacket and phone and walked to the door.

Nikki:Well it seems like the 'right time' is taking for ever!

I said and slammed the door.

I'm sick and tired of this!

Wondering when I'm going get married,when the hell is he gonna propose?

Like any normal woman,I've dreamed of my wedding day and having a beautiful family.

I've been bringing up the topic more than usual because I'm an impatient person.

I know I might seem persistent but I really love John although these days it's like he doesn't feel the same.

We fight now almost everyday over the same stupid things like leaving the toilet seat up or putting dirty laundry INTO the laundry basket.

I need love,love from my boyfriend but all it seems like I'm getting rejection instead.

I was walking down the hotel hall when I feel my phone vibrating.

I pulled it out,John is trying to call.

So I answer it.

PHONE CALL:

Nikki:What?

John:Where the hell did you go?!

Nikki:Since when do you care?

John:I don't have time for your crap Nicole!If you're coming back you come back.If you don't want to come back that's not my problem.You're too damn immature!

CALL ENDED.

I laugh with hurt in my heart but a smile on my face.

I brush the tears aways.

Wait and see how immature I can be.

Nikki:Another round!

Bartender:Ma'am are you sure?

Nikki:I've got nothing left to loose right?

Bar tender:Alright then.

He sighed,sliding me another shot.

I love this feeling of being numb.

It's like you're in your own world and no one can touch you.
