The Strength Of A Wolf Pack

The start

My name is Scarlett. Scarlett Luna. My friends call me scar sometimes.I have long pink hair and chocolate brown eyes. I am a junior in high school. I never really was the type to be mean to people, but I have my moments. I have four piercings. Spider bites, 14 ring gauges, double auricles on both ears and septum. I dressed casual. Ripped skinny jeans, t shirts, chokers, bracelets. Anyways, not your typical kind of girl. Don't judge a book by its cover of course. On the daily I came home to my drunk aunt, she never said much but when she did she made sure it was not nice. At school there were of course a couple of girls that made fun of me. I am a writer, a singer. I love writing. It is the one thing that soothes my agony. But I also enjoy talking to my best friend Britney. Oh she was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Blue eyes, septum, dirtyblonde pinkish hair. She was there for me when nobody else was. My parents had given me up for adoption because they just couldn't handle a teenager. Britney talked to me and helped me realize it wasn't my fault. She moved away though. Anyways. My alarm clock just went off. I have to get up for school. Yay. Not. I threw on my awolnation band t and my black ripped jeans. I also put my leather spiked vest on over it and tied my converse. I wanted to do something different with my hair so I put it up in a bun, but it was in the shape of a bow. I let a bang hang down. I put on my black eyeliner, did my wings, put my pink eyeshadow on, mascara and lipgloss. I was determined to get through the day at least looking good, even if it was a shitty one. When I walked into the school I got a couple of stares from the guys. Yeah guys were crazy about me. Oddly enough I wasn't as crazy about them. Although I did have some guy friends, me and them hide a very big secret. We are wolves. Sounds funny, but we are. My pack are the same people that are the pack on twilight. Jacob, paul, Jared, Sam, seth, quil, and embry. Leah was a girl wolf, she was my friend as well. I have the same classes with a couple of them. Seth is really my closest guy friend. Although embry and Jacob were crazy about me and would kill for me as well. I wasn't very worried about the bullies. Why would I be? I don't let the girls push me around. Anytime they try, it truly backfires on them because at the end of the day, I have my pack, but I also can be mean right back. So the bell rang for lunch and me and my pack met up and sat down at a table. Of course some girls were totally jealous of me, wanting to sit with us, but we dont really allow it becsuse people are very annoying. Kyla walked up to me so i looked up at her. She was one of the bullies. She had a drink in her hand and she was about to pour it on my head when I quickly grabbed her arm took the drink, stood up and poured it all over her. "My outfit!!!" She screeched. Seth, paul and Jacob couldn't hold in the laughter. I started laughing too but Kyla grabbed me by my hair and made me stand up. Oh shit!!! Fight!! Fight!! I heard as the cafeteria full of people closed in on me and Kyla. She punched me but I barely flinched. Shots fired!! Beat her ass scar!!! Is all I heard. I laughed and asked is that all you got Kyla? Im pretty sure your dead fish could hit harder than that. She tried to swing at me but I grabbed her arm, uppercutted her and tackled her down. Whoa shit scarletts got hands!!! I heard from my pack as I kept punching kyla. She tried to get up pulling my hair but she couldn't thanks to my fist in her face. You see Kyla this is why you don't bully people. Eventually theyll get sick of your shit. I felt bad so i stopped hitting her. The teachers came rushing in and it seems that I gave her a slight concussion. Her family did not charge me knowing she was a bully. But I was suspended for two weeks. Fine by me. No work, just chillin with the pack. Funny thing is, it is spring break and it lasts two weeks so I got lucky with my grades. No damage done. When I got home, i brought the pack, we were going to eat at golden corall and then go to the Beach. We heard my aunt calling me into the living room and we walked in. What's this I received a phone call about you giving a poor girl a concussion?? Aunt Aunt its okay, she was one of my bullies, she started the fight. My aunt rolled her eyes and sighed. Just be more careful. If you use anymore strength, people will find out. I shook my head yes and told her where we were going. She wasn't the worst aunt, I mean she said some stuff, but she was pretty chill overall. I didnt have a curfew because of course I'm a wolf.

When we arrived at golden corall, Embry was acting funny. I figured I would talk to him in private when we got to the beach. We all got a bunch of random foods and of course raided the chocolate fountain. Chocolate didnt bother us considering we arent complete dogs. We of course raided the ice cream and gummy bears too. We left a tip and got up to leave. Jacob burped and it was one of those loud obnoxious ones. Excuse me he said as we walk out the doors getting a couple of stares. We laughed and got in the car. We all had our own car, but decided to take Jareds van. Embry was acting strange still, and you couldn't help but worry. You cared deeply for all of the pack. But Embry in particular seemed to be a little more cared for ;). We jammed out to some music in the car until we got to the beach. Everybody got out of the car and most of them went to howl on a rock while embry just walked to where the ocean waves were clashing. It was night time so we could see the moon and stars. I told the pack I would catch up and I was going to see if Embry was alright. Jake offered to come with me but I told him I could handle it myself. I walked slowly towards Embry. I stopped beside him. I took my shoes off and felt the sand on my feet. It was cold but yet soothing. Hey,he looked over to me. Hey I replied. Is everything okay Em? He just had a blank stare on his face but looked at me and said " Yeah everything is fine dont worry about it." I half smiled and told him that I was here for him and he didnt have to pretend to be okay around me. Embry said "thank you scar" and pulled me in for a hug. I didnt deny his hugs. They oddly made me feel funny inside. It's not a problem. You know I'm here for you. Embry all of a sudden started crying on my shoulder and I comforted him. Embry sweetie whats wrong? Come here. He sat in the sand and i sat next to him pulling him close holding him, playing with his hair. He smiled and thanked me for being here but I wanted to know what was wrong. He eventually spoke up. "I think I have a problem Scar".. He looked me in the eyes and it was as if I could read him like a book. Oh no..
Embry is everything alright with your family? He replied quickly "yes. It's not my family."So I misread him. "It's something else".. He kept looking at me and I began to feel a little nervous. Embry never really tells people whats wrong. He just keeps it to himself. And he was going to tell me. "You know what imprinting is right?" I responded. Did you forget I was a wolf too? We both laughed. Good point haha. What about imprinting? I asked. His face went completely ghost and he was pretty tan. "I think I imprinted.." oh.. I said, kind of sad because I've had a crush on him for a while. Did you imprint on a human? "No.. She isn't human.." I looked at him and his head was hung down low. I picked his chin up with my fingers and looked in his eyes. He kind of shifted in his place and seemed hesitant. Then who is it Em? I wont tell the pack so they can't tease you. "Well scar. We've been best friends for years." Yeah we have. "I think I have imprinted on you. That's why I've been so distant towards you lately.. it's because of the fear of rejection.. I didnt want to scare you away or ruin our friendship" I stared. I was shocked. Really shocked. " tell me what you're thinking scar.." I.. I'm thinking that is really sweet, and I'm glad you imprinted on me Embry, it makes me feel happy inside. "Really??" He said in a relieved tone. Yes really, I smiled and hugged him. He hugged back and we pulled away. We just stared at each other. We both had those dark brown eyes and it was just perfect. So.. s so what's next?.. I asked nervously actually accidentally stuttering a little. I cursed at myself. Embry gave me a smile and pulled me close to him. I smiled and he leaned in. He gave me a kiss on the cheek. Out of respect. Wolves dont like to rush things. I smiled and returned the kiss on his cheek. He giggled and blushed and I did the same. "So how do you feel about me Scar?" Honestly, I've had a crush on you for a while. I want to see where this goes. He smiled at me and I smiled back. I reached out for his hand. Come on lets go to join the pack and have some fun.

It was beautiful. The moon was shining, we were playing beach volleyball and enjoying our milkshakes. I had always enjoyed volleyball and milkshakes. As well as hanging out with my pack. I love you guys!! I pulled them all in for a group hug. We love you too, they hugged back
