More Than One

Location: Stef's backyard

"We need to be serious about this now Jed, their are people out there who can sense your power and are willing to kill you for it". Stef said in a serious tone as we walked out to his backyard.

"I don't want that to happen to you or anyone I know. That's why starting from today you'll come over to my house to train.

"Alright, sounds like fun."

"Yup and its gonna be fun too" he pointed out

"Oh and if you feel you are tired or anything talk to Mindy, shell take care of you"

After he said that Mindy joined us in the backyard with a notebook in one hand and a pencil in the other.

Then she sat down on the grass and started drawing, when she finished she ripped out the page she drew on and held it up.

She mumbled something that made the paper glow.

After 2 seconds Stef's backyard was inside a building that had no windows on the sides except on the ceiling to let the sunlight come in.

I pretty much figured out Mindy's ability, she had the power to draw anything into existence.

It wasnt that hard to figure out. After seeing Stef teleport I pretty much believe in the impossible now.

"Awesome ability Mindy, having the powers to bring anything to life"

She looked up at me and smiled
"Yeah it is pretty awesome, I guess you could consider it rare to have my type of powers"

I smiled back and then turned back to Stef giving him a nod that I'm ready.

"Alright dude, now that no one can see us use our powers we can finally start our training" Stef said excitedly

"This is how things are gonna work, I'm going to trigger your powers. By punching you" he said with a evil smile

"No questions asked here we go!!"

Before I can say anything he disappears.

I don't know why but I felt nervous, a bit scared, and confused.

I stopped thinking when I felt Stef punch me in the head.

I turned around but he was already gone.

I started looking around, waiting for him to appear and make a move.

He then suddenly appeared besides me and went for a punch. I quickly blocked it and went for a punch in the stomach.

"Uggghh" he wrapped his arms around his stomach and backed away in pain.

"N-nice one" he said with a small laugh.

"You OK?" I asked

"Yeah yeah, let's continue"

I knew he was getting competitive when he started teleporting faster and hitting me in all different places.

I tried my best blocking his attacks but he was too fast, I had to come up with something fast or else I was going to get knocked down.

I noticed that Stef teleports behind me every 2 seconds, in front of me every 3 seconds, and besides me every 1 seconds.

I studied his moves by letting him hit me every time he teleport. Then I got him by surprise when he teleported behind me.

I quickly pushed him down and threw myself on top of him, then I covered his eyes. I didn't think it would actually work but I was righ

"I knew it! You can't teleport if you can't see"

"Good job bro, but that was only one of my weaknesses"

I looked at him with a confused face. Then I felt two hands grab me and push me to the floor.

I rubbed my head and looked up to see two Stephens, then four, then 15,20,60, 100.

It was an entire army

"Sorry, I forgot to mention to you that you can have more then one ability" he said with a smile.

Damn This just got 100x harder.
