7. Being Reunited

Cliff: The male alpha, Black, very strong, comforting, hard working, good wolf to be around
Clover (me): Female Alpha, white, fluffy, friendly, adventurous, accepting, and sincere
Silver Strike: male beta, grey, loyal, dependable, polite, and quiet
Akira: female beta, beige, focused, honest, gentle, and loyal
Lennon: the delta of the pack, tan, focussed, peaceful, honest, gentle, and strong
Eclipse: the gamma of the pack, a timber wolf, cheerful, helpful, and smart
Midnight: the pack mate, black, humorous, slightly mature, creative, and efficient
Kendal: omega, a grey wolf, helpful, independent, reliable, and honest

   I was happy to be again with my mate Cliff, we went with the pack hunting. Our target was bison, there were always bison around our rock den, so it wasn't too far from our den. We looked at the biggest buffalo in the group, but we don't want to start a stand peed. We spotted the biggest buffalo, and targeted it Cliff lead the pack and once we were close enough we ran after it. Midnight made a jump for it but didn't succeed, he flopped down with a whimper but jumped right back up.

     The bison was pretty fast, for it's size, midnight went for another jump and this time he succeeded. Kendal grabbed a leg with cause the bison to trip and all of us stumble, but hey, not a bad way to take down this fierce beast. I helped midnight with the back and Cliff bit the neck while Akira and Silver Strike help down the hooves and horns.

  We were all proud to be a pack, and we worked together well. We hunted some other things like birds and baby gazelles. We had a tiny break I groomed Cliffs fury and he groomed mine. I whispered to Cliff, "it looks like someone's falling in love", I smirked we both looked at Lennon and Eclipse they were cuddling with each other. Cliff said, "it's sure good to be home."

  I went and got a baby gazelle, for us and we ate while the pack ate the other gazelle's. I right away dug into the meal, I was very hungry, I ate a half of rib and a leg, then Cliff ate three legs and the other half of the rib. We all ate well that night. While Cliff was gone that long of a time, I showed him a bedroom I made just for me and him. There were leaves as the bed then there were rocks as the room it was like a den in another den. We all slept with the pack all cuddling each other, to keep warm. We slept well and woke up at dawn, it was spring! We went to hunt some turkey, the turkeys were slow, so it was easy to make a kill. We went after a turkey, and I ripped the neck and that was an easy kill.

   I scratched of some meat and teared it into peaces so it was easy to eat. It was mating season, and I was already in heat. So that day we told the wolf pack our plans, Akira was happy to know that we are going to have pups, and so were the others. Lennon and Eclipse were finally mates, they thought of pups but weren't so sure yet.
