Chapter 1: Ever Since That Day

Stratus was never considered your average everyday girl, I mean, there is no other word to describe her than extraordinary.
She was born with wonderfully fair skin and the most beautiful mist colored hair. She was often envied for her looks and grew very soft spoken in fear of being insulted, or, to a larger extent, "cursed".
Nonetheless, Stratus was a wonderfully kind girl, and, when one was blessed to know her, she was as bubbly and energetic as a new puppy, moving with an unusual combination of electricity and whimsy. She was a pleasant girl to be around, but, as mentioned before, her looks often let others imaginations' get the best of themselves and only think the worst of her.
To the average human, she was a normal girl, but, not much of a surprise to anyone who has ever met her, she has a mild control of the weather. Of course, at her age of 18, she is an adult who knows how to control her powers.
Life seems great, she is in control of her emotions, she is stunning, and she is just about to live the rest of her life as an adult, until that faithful day arrived.
Just as soon as Stratus was going to leave the dining hall after breakfast, she saw the most stunning girl she has ever seen.
Her skin was like honey, perfectly tan and warm. It was kissed by the sun and set an aura of warmth to whomever had been so blessed to witness. Her red-violet eyes melted the hearts of the strongest of men and the most bitter of females; she could easily give a model a run for their money. Her figure was a perfect hourglass, a stunning, beautiful curve that even Stratus, for a moment, was jealous of. The young lady's hair fell into a white-pink ombré that left Stratus into a love struck gaze. Even if she was a good distance away, Stratus could smell the sweet, delicate aroma of the young lady.
At that moment, Stratus's heart was beating out of her chest like a drum. Her pale, soft cheeks soon resembled a raspberry when she saw the young lady.
Why, why do I feel this way... Stratus thought to herself. I... I'm not sure I know how I feel like... like I'm being struck by lightning yet also like I've never wanted anything more in my life...
A good deal of seconds later, Stratus headed on to her home room class, Biology. She tried shaking off the image of the Stunning Lady, but found herself unable to. Soon, she found herself only enveloped in her class, and life returned to normal.
"Hello, class," Said Mrs. Megurine. "Today, we'll be receiving a new student; her name is... Maika. Please welcome her well"
As soon as Maika entered, Stratus received the same unexplainable feeling that she had felt at breakfast.
As Maika had stepped into the anticipating class room, she was met in silence.
It was the Stunning Lady that Stratus had seen before.
