Batman : The End

Episode 9 : Demon's Realm

          The spellbook appeared in Eclpiso's hand, Batman hovering in mid-air. Α streak of plasma beam shot out from Eclipso's palm. Batman dodged, circling Eclipso. Eclipso fired again, and again, all of them missed. 

          Twin beams shot on the ground, Eclipso was blown away by the explosion. "Mind if I join?" Doctor Fate said his palms emittng smoke. "The Dragon?" Batman asked. "Taken care of." lighting crackled between his fingers, he created a ball f lighting and threw it at Eclipso. 

          Eclipso gestured his arm and the energy ball spilt apart.

"The fire of the sun,

"Set them ablaze!" Eclipso shouted.

          The spellbook glowed, immediately, Batman and Doctor Fate was on fire. "Gaah!" Batman crashed on the ground, he took at a white colored ball and threw directly under him. The ball exploded, white gas covered the area. Eclipso took the chance and blasted Batman. Batman sprawled on the ground , the flames already gone. 

          Doctor Fate glowed, his body shone like the light. The light gone out as well as the flames flames. Doctor Fate blasted again, the spellbook did its work again as the beam was reflected. 

"We must get the spellbook." Batman whispered to Fate.

          Batman ignited a smoke bomb, the heavy smoke covered the area. Blurring Eclipso's vision. Eclipso flew up, where he found himself face to face with Doctor Fate. "Sup." said Doctor Fate, electricity crackled around his fist, and he gave Eclipso a punch to the face.

          Eclipso crashed to the ground, putting out a spark of electricity of his face. Then he heard something, a swift and soft sound... Eclipso ducked as two batarangs burst out of view. Batman's knee smashed into Eclipso, Eclipso screamed, blood trickling down his forehead.

          Eclipso drew the sword, the sword hummed in a low tune. "Want the book? Here to tell you that this one is more powerful." Eclipso smiled. "Sadly, I would really like to play with you, but I still have one more relic and a world to destroy." he said. 

        He charged at Batman, Batman held his fist, ready. Eclipso sliced and diced, Batman ducked and dodged. The blade raked at his suit, tearing it. Doctor Fate joined the battle, he conjured at the ground, roots and branches grabbed at Eclipso. He cut the branches, pulled out the roots. Vegetation was ripped from the ground, soil and dirt all over them.

          "Back off me!"

          Eclipso sunk the sword to the  ground

"βηκξσηγυθφ,

"γξδτξφυκγεχ!

           Α Βeam of red light shot from the ground, illuminating the streets, it was nightime now. Eclipso stood in the middle of the light, and instantly, his body was disppaeared, teleported.

"Quick! Follow him."

          They stood in the light, suddenly the felt like they were being pulled, sucked to the ground, and then they diappeared. Batman opened his eyes, they were in some sort of small kingdom, made of rock and red soil. The place was a mess, like a war, but with no people. No living ones, that is.

          Batman surveyed the area, and he saw bodies. All of them do not belong to humans. Creatures with horns and red skin.

"This is the demon's realm." Doctor fate stood beside him.

"Eclipso..." Batman pointed to a pile of soil as high as a normal house about .

          Eclipso dug the soil, until he found a flint and steel. Its was dark red and glowing in an eerie way. 

Doctor Fate gasped. He pointed at the item in Eclipso's grasp and stammered " tthat...is the ddemon flint and steel." "The what?" "The third relic."

Eclipso rubbed the flint and steel together, sparks flew everywhere. The sparks that touched the ground immediately erupted into flames. The flames then burned in a circle, surrounding Eclipso. He drew the sword and sunk he sword in the middle of the flaming circle and took out the spellbook. 

                                     "Through the light of the Demon Portal,"

                                     "This spell is going to make me immortal."

                                                   "Upon the rain of shower,"

                                              "I shall have unlimited power!"

The moment he finished the spell, white rays burst out from his body. He let out a scream of agony, then he stayed there with his head down and body motionless. The rays were already gone. 

"Should we attack?" asked Batman. "You are the expert at this stuff.." Batman whispered. "You're asking me?!" shouted Fate.

"Ahahaha!" cackled Eclipso, Batman and Fate immediately stopped the argument and looked at him. "How pathetic!I can feel the power flowing through my veins. I can sense you both are worthless garbage compared to me!"

He picked up the relics from the ground and said :"These relics have served me well." He threw them to a side," But I don't need it anymore." Eclipso let out a grin and said "I suppose I will finish you off before I destroy the world." 

Batman jumped to the side as a ray flew from Eclipso's palm, Fate whispered to him "We can use the relics, Eclipso has drain its power but its far from powerless..." Batman gave him a nod as response as he dived for the relics. Rays of disintegrating beams missing him by centimeters, Fate gave Batman time as he distracted Eclipso.

Batman gripped the relics tightly as he mimicked what Eclipso did and copied what he said, immediately his felt his muscles contract, his mind fogging, screams came out from his mouth before he even felt the agony.....

"Noooo!!!!!!" yelled Eclipso.

But it was too late...
