Sath had his arm around Rose, with her leaning against his chest. Her head felt warm.

"When do you think Reza's gonna get back?" Rose asked.

The door creaked open, and Reza walked in with a wheelbarrow... full of human bodies. Each of them had big chunks taken out of their bodies... their faces, their arms, etc., etc.

"What's up, bitches?" Reza said as she walked in the door.

"Um... bitches?" Rose asked.

"Yeah, are you deaf?"

"Hey, she isn't deaf. You're the bitch." Sath said, defending Rose.

"Oh, wow. I'm so offended." Sath could tell that comment was sarcastic.

"Can you guys just shut up about the topic?" Rose said.

"Ugh. Fine."

"So," Rose started, "The new assassins are coming tomorrow, so we better start cleaning up so they don't think we're slobs."

"I know Sath is."

"Shut up, Reza."

"Well, start cleaning!"

They cleaned for hours. The place was a mess. The kitchen was ok, per the fact that they never use it. None of them knew how to cook, and since Sath and Reza weren't mortal, they didn't eat normal food.

Once they were finally done, Sath collapsed on the couch, tired, – even though he was just cleaning – and wanted to rest. He walked over to his bed, lay down, and fell asleep.

"Sath, wake the hell up, you big dope."

He recognized Reza's voice immediately. Well, not her voice but he could tell it was her because she called him a "dope". She was always offending him. He had to admit, her insults were pretty good, but he never said it out loud.

"The new assassins are here, so get your lazy ass out of bed."

"I bet your lazy ass didn't even get dressed." Sath said, his eyes still closed.

"Well, I bet you're blind because I slept in my clothes. Therefore, I am dressed. Get your eyes checked."

Sath groaned and got dressed. He sat on the couch next to Rose, just as the doorbell rang. Reza opened the door and three people walked in. One of them was a tall guy with dirty blonde hair. He had a black sweatshirt and jeans on. The one next to him looked like his girlfriend – he was pretty much guessing the couples – she was shorter than him, her brown hair tied back in a ponytail. She just wore a simple t-shirt and jeans. The next one looked like a pretty happy person, (great, Sath thought) with blonde hair, a white shirt with pink swirls, and light blue pastel pants. The tall one spoke first.

"Uh, hi." He had a British accent. He looked at Sath. "Could you stop staring at me?"

Sath quickly looked away, pretending he hadn't been looking at him.

"I'm Lilac," said the happy one. "This is Xavier", she said, pointing at the guy with the dirty blonde hair. She pointed at the one Sath guessed was his girlfriend. "And this is Scarlet!"

"I'm Reza. These two big dopes are Rose and Sath."

"Wow, thanks." Rose said, sarcastically.

"Well, come on in, you ugly bitches."

"Did you just call me ugly?" Scarlet sounded stern and scary.

"Yeah, do you have a problem with that?"

"You know I could beat you in a fight. I am a higher class than you."

"So? How do you know I'm strong?"

Sath was getting tired of Reza getting into arguments every few minutes. Couldn't she be nice for just, what, 2 seconds?

While the girls argued, Sath pushed past Xavier and went out to eat. He walked past an empty alleyway and saw empty beer bottles rolling on the floor, next to some blood that got stained on the concrete (How did that even happen?). He wondered how that got there. Street fight, maybe? He pushed the thought out of his head and continued walking down the street, looking for someone to kill.
